Bowden's Own Wheely clean Questions & Answers
I left wheely clean on my tyres and rims for too long (misread the instructions) And now they've gone almost chalky?? Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Sezzy.b, I,m pretty sure this cleaner is not for tyres, just your rims only. Without knowing what type your rims are, I would suggest cleaning wheels with car wash and soft brush a few times. Otherwise contact Bowdens directly for advise. Good luck, Bobby Boardshorts.
Using Wheely Clean stained the brake calipers on my Volvo an ugly brown! The brakes were NOT hot. How do I clean this off?
Is wheely clean ok to use on polished wheels , or will it strip the polish & require repolishing?

Yes I think it will strip your polish if it is being applied by you on the wheels. But this product is safe to use on any kind of wheels painted or steel or aluminium.
