where can i buy a filter basket JE90J
I need to buy a replacement filter basket for a model JE90B juicer but don't see one for sale. Will another model work on my machine?

I poured boiling water into the filter basket so the water came out of the spout. While the unit was still warm from the water I gave it a wriggle and a really good tug and had success.
We've had the same issue & found the hot water loosened it enough to get out. Once out we applied Vaseline to all the black plastic areas and its now coming in & out with ease.

I have a Breville Juice Fountain Model JE90B the connection between the motor (base) and the sieve is via 3 sprung balls which fit into a groove. I have solved the disconnection problem by cleaning the groove with isopropyl alcohol and lubricating the groove and balls with a silicon spray. I pressed the balls in with a screw driver to allow the silicon to fully lubricate the ball. The sieve now easily disconnects.
Is the Breville model JE90B a cold press model suitable for juicing wheatgrass? Someone is selling one however I only want one that can juice wheatgrass at the moment.
The blade won't attach to the base, I used to hear or feel a small click when it locked onto the base however I've tried everything and I now can't get it to lock onto the base. What should I do?

Hi have a Breville juicer that I purchased from Macys four years ago. the juice basket is stuck on the motor unit. Its always been difficult to pull the base off - and now it won't come off. Any help? pease reply to [email address removed]
Pour hot water over the machine so the water comes out the spout and while the plastic is warm try removing as per usual. The unit is sealed so there should be no risk to the unit itself. makes sure the unit is turned off and unplugged first and be careful with hot or boiling water.
I recently purchased a JE90B second hand from a friend who had only used it a couple of times - still had all the labels etc. Have been juicing for about 6 weeks - 4 juices daily (for myself and son) and have noticed that the motor seems to be getting hot and a unusual smell. Does this mean that I have bought a lemon?? I hope not as i am now a juicing convert. Sandy
Hi Sandy - the correct procedure when using a Breville juicer is to prepare all food, then turn the machine on and feed food down the chute with the motor running. Why does the filter unit get stuck to the main body and motor of the machine, I just cannot get it to release and don't want to damage it, what should I do?

This happened to me today...and of course you don't want to be rough with such a handy tool. I tugged and pulled and did that some more. I even tried prising the filter unit and surrounding plastic with a spoon. Nothing worked and I was about to throw it out when hubby suggested pouring boiling water into it. It's a sealed unit that has liquid flowing past it all the time so why not? I slowly poured 2 litres of boiling water into the filter of the the unit over the edge of the sink with the water exiting from the plastic spout. While the plastic was still warm, I wrapped my arms around the unit so it was close to my body and gave the top a wriggle and then a good tug. SUCCESS!
I recently bought a Breville JE90 juicer second hand for my sister. I have a JE95 that I've had since new and love but th JE90 has a different way of the stainless steel basket/blades locking in and we can't seem to remove it for cleaning. Is there a simple way?
It doesn't really lock in. Just grab not only the blade but the bowl around it and give the whole thing a good tug upward. it will come free
I just bought one from Cash Converters so it is second hand but works well. I have just noticed the plastic is worn and jagged underneath the Filter Bowl Surround. Will this continue to deteriorate and does it go into the juice? Is it possible to replace it?

I have a Breville Juicer model JE90J - Q99296 bought from Myers Perth store years ago. I find so much difficulty removing the S/S filter for cleaning after each use.
At the moment, it's still stuck to the motor unit after using it yesterday!
What should I do?
