Bridgestone Turanza Questions & Answers
VerifiedI have just purchased a new T roc and it is fitted with Bridgestone Turanza 215/50R18 92w, it has excessive road noise to the point of not wanting to drive the car, anyone know what would cause this?
What is the correct pressure for a Tirana’s ER30 225/55R16 tyre
Good day is 225/40R18 Bridgestone Turanza T001 92W MOEtended a run flat fire or not and how to spot the differences?
Sorry, no idea
Yes I believe they are but you need to check the website listing to be sure. Tempe Tyres has a listing "Bridgestone 225/40/18 92W Turanza T001 MOE Runflat". Not sure if we can post a link but it is quite simple to Google it online. We replaced ours with Pirelli P7 and felt an improvement in grip. Too early to say how tyre wear is yet.
What is the instalment structure?
I don't understand your question?
How many instalments?
Pressure of Serenity Plus
How much 4 Tyers fitting??
Can the Turanza Serenty Plus tyres be rotated diagonally?
Sorry, I can't answer your question. All I can say is that with my driving routine and high freeway klms the wear has been pretty even across all 4 tyres and rotation has not been necessary to date- on any of the 3 sets of these tyres I've had fitted. Currently, I've reached 60,000-odd Klms on 3rd set and there's easily another 20,000+ remaining. As an economical tyre on my daily driver, I can't fault them. Cheers.
I want to replace my mazda 3 2009 bl tyres. Manufacturer placard says 91 v. Can i go for the Bridgestone turanza serinity plus even though they have H speed rating ? Or do they come in V rating as well?
Can the Serenity plus tyres be diagonally rotated?
How do they compare to the Michelin Primacy 4 for comfort and road noise and are they as soft a rubber and are the side walls soft also like the Michelins? Thanks heaps
I cannot make a comparison between the two as I have never had Michelin Primacy 4. I can say that they are comfortable to drive on and do not make much if any noticeable noise.
Thanks for that. Michelin have lots of good reviews But that doesn't mean they are better necessarily, especially for an older Camry that had Bridgestone turanza as stock OEM I know that the two are never going to be perfect, but a tie that gave you a comfort and quietness would be superior. Does anyone else have any feedback? Thanks heaps.
As for are the tyre walls soft, well don't go running around them with a warm butter knife. The Michelin tyres i had before theses were about the same or slightly quieter than the Serenity Plus.
Are they soft rubber ND are the sidewalls soft too? How would they compare to Michelin Primacy 4 for comfort and quietness?
I have never had Mitchelin tyres. However, the Turanza tyers are quiet and comfortable for a Holden Astra anyway.
Hi, has anyone compared these to the Continental ComfortContact CC6? They would seem to be the main competitor.
Are these tyres soft riding ??
They were for the first 8000 then they were noisy and hard as bricks I’ve just changed to yokahama es32 steering is a lot better ,lighter in car parks and on long drives and they brake well and now my Honda gets 4.6-4.9 litres / 100km
Thanks for the advice. We are talking about the serenity tyres..yes ? Barry
I only got it on for 3 weeks. What you mean for soft riding? Going over speed hump? I pump my tyres a bit harder to better control and steering feel.
Do the serenity plus tires come in size 25/50/17
How do they perform on a Toyota Tarago?
Will this tyre fit a ford focus
I had these tyres fitted to my Ford Focus 2003 1.8L manual. Bought 195/60 R15 88H.
What is the treadwear rating on the side of these tyres?
Tread ware is 600
Amazing tyres ... got them on special .. the good thing is that it comes with lifetime free balancing and rotations if you buy from bridgestone select.. driven 70000 still in very good condition... always go for this very reliable tyre and especially gives a very nice mileage
I see a lot of people stating that these tyres are quiet, are they truly a lot quieter than other tyres that you've used or is it because they're sold as quiet tyres so people think they're quiet, genuinely interested to know because i'm tossing up between the Serenity plus, yokohama es32 and Michelin primacy 3st, need the quietest tyre I can get to lower tyre roar in the 70 to 110kph zones.
Well, to answer my own question, no they are not a lot quieter than other tyres, they are only slightly quieter than the old tyres that came off, and I would have expected that from any new tyres.
My Hankook Optimo 406s are expetionally quiet and good all round...Choice recommended.
Are these tyres prone to the ‘square tyre’ Effect on cooler days when you first drive the car in the mornings?
Not that I have noticed.
Found a screw embedded in left front tyre. Now it’s removed I am hoping the problem goes away. Time will tell but even my mechanic thinks that’s unlikely the cause
I have a 2011 Mazda 6 hatch. The tyre sizes currently on my car are 225 45 R18 91W. Do Bridgestone make this size in the Serenity Plus EL64?
If not, what other similar size will be suitable for my car? Also what is the RRP in Melbourne Victoria for a set of four tyres? Marino
