Cooper CS4 Touring Questions & Answers
I have a 2007 ML 280cdi Mercedes. I live in the country but almost all good roads and freeway. Which Cooper tyre would be best and how many alms should I expect to get? What about the Michelin Latitude Tour HP as a comparission tyre? appreciate any comments. Bryan
G'day Lissie, Sorry - it is nigh on impossible to comment on which tyre is best for your application. I can vouch for the CS4's on our car, as per my review. But have no idea of the type of driver you are, or the geometry of your particular vehicle.
By sheer chance we have a set of Michelin Latitude Plus tyres on our 1996 Prado. They are just over 6 years old, and aren't really ageing particularly well. I have to be honest with you and say that we have never really had the confidence in these, in that application, that we have in the CS4's. But the Prado is a very different vehicle from the Nissan X-trail ... which is a very different vehicle again from yours!!
We are researching Mickey Thompsons as the next set on our Prado, and also for our 2 year old Jeep Grand Cherokee to replace the awful Michelins that came on it as standard.
Hope this helps ... !!
Thank you for your quick response. Would you be able to send any further Emails to Bryanmmeehan@bigpond.com as this was sent to my wife's email address. Thank you and appreciate your help.
Regards,
Bryan
Will the Cs4 suit a 2008 Hilux ute?
If size available - sure!
Depends on what you are using it for, I have seen some hilux 4x4's
To be honest I think the CS4 is better suited to bitumen roads. I think the tyres have been great on the road and in the wet, but I have little to no advice on the use of them in harsher conditions like gravel and rocks and sand. Sorry .. Goodluck
Is it good for toyota yaris?
Can't see why not.
But these are for the SUV market
It provides good traction and mileage so if you find the right size - go for it!
The reviewmentions coopers in 225 55 18 but your site doesn't provide a price for them. How much for four 225 55 18s pls? Thanx ian
Ian that depends on the dealer about $300 each Ive been told by my dealer. Please allow for variations by dealer, best to shop around
We paid $300.00 per tyre if I remember correctly.
Has anybody fitted these tyres to a Holden Captiva CX diesel 2010, and if so can you post any comment (positive and negative).
I have seen them on several Captivas.
They should be just a good as on my car.
They are great all-round tyre on all similar vehicles eg Forester et al
I have done over 50,00ks on them and have nothing to but praise for these tyres.
What is the recommended air pressure for the CS4 we have put them on our BA SE Super cab ute 2005 model.
John
