Hoping someone could help me with this bike The bike ran perfectly and has done very few kms but has lost all pedal assistance I took it to both bike shops in my town and received two different opinions and a verdict of no hope to fix it. One said even though the battery is charged it actually shows little power when tested The other said the battery is perfectly fine, it is the silver box at the back of the battery case A neighbours opinion it is the motor

*It is showing error code 30 which according to this site external link  means Communication Error - It occurs when there is a connection problem between the internal controller and the display. Check for silicone interference, corrosion damage, or loose or damaged cables

No idea who is right, but I do know I would like to get it fixed and prove them wrong! Being not tech minded I can't do myself. I am considering putting it up on Airtasker but I am in a smallish NSW south coast town. However I could get it to Wollongong which may be a better bet to find someone who cares enough to fix it. Thanks Greg

I am curious my LED on the handlebars keeps flashing the following 31E I am not sure if this is an error code as I don’t have a manual

It is an error code/ connection issue - 31 Peak over Current error It occurs due to the excessive current from the battery pack. Reduce power demand and restart the bike. external link

Simply open the cam lever at the base of the handlebar stem, pull the handlebars up to the desired height and lock the cam lever again. Ashley

The chain on my Crane folding 'E Bike' is continually coming off the front sprocket. It was bought a year ago, and has only been used occasionally. Bike shop can not see anything amiss. Please advise.

I have a Crane Folding e-bike from Aldi and goes great but when it sits idle for more than a few weeks the battery won't turn on. I then have to connect it up to the charger for a few seconds to 'activate' it then it lights up as fully charged. I'd hate for it to get worse and leave me stranded far from the charger. Any ideas?
