While dispensing coffee from pods my machine makes a lot of noise which seems to be coming from the main dispensing tower. What should I do? My machine is 3 years old. Thanks.

The decibel reading on the noise level of the pump is 40DB .If you are getting noise it has to be the pump or a part of the pump when the capsule gets pierced. There are no other moving parts .If it is louder than 40DB than you need to get the machine serviced .The cost will be over $100.00 .

My cappuccino from the lattisima suddenly tastes like soap? I have soaked and rinsed the milk frother, etc. but nothing is helping. Any advice? Thank you!

Maybe try and do a water flush? Run some water through the coffee dispenser (without inserting a pod) and fill and run water through the milk dispenser. hope this helps

Have you descaled it yet? You can check out this vid on how to do it: external link

My new Lattissima does not seem to be working. When it is turned on, it lights up but when I press the buttons absolutely nothing happens. Only two weeks old, is there a simple thing I'm missing?

Oh dear... I'm guessing you filled the water holder and it's clicked back into place properly? I'm sure Delonghi or the place of purchase should be able to help you out.
