Level 9 is the hottest. Just to confirm, the blanket I have is the fitted sheet one
How do I disconnect the controller to wash the electric blanket?
Lift plastic tab with credit or similar plastic card and wiggle out the plug. IE where it attaches to the blanket.

My blanket doesn't heat up very much. I think it is poor quality , it doesn't work as well as it should. If it doesn't perform the job it is expected to do , I believe I am entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer laws . Who do I contact or do I take it back to the store . It is now 3 yrs old , i didn't use it the last 2 winters , because I thought it was faulty and dangerous.

I purchased my King size several years ago and I haven't had any problems with it. I love the multi zone settings. The only thing I would prefer is a down arrow when changing the settings instead of having to go all the way up to 9. As my things are now packed in storage I am in a double bed, yet there are no double bed size electric blankets available at Aldi. Why?
