can i put a clear coat over this
Is it possible that a product a third the price of other’s is any good? Does it not last as long? Must I use more for proper coverage?
No it isn't very good, spend the extra and get a better one in my opinion. I bought it figuring oil is really oil, surely. However whilst it looked good initially, it really didn't last. I did three coats, following directions closely. I would say within 2 months the finish was really not doing anything. Water simply penetrated right through, even though the finish is still there. I think like with paint, you really do get what you pay for.
