Oh how I wish I had found these reviews before I fell for their free trial scam. I did receive the sample and then 14 days later another charge of $208. After cancelling the subscription which was nowhere to be seen on the advertisement. confirmation of order for trial was 17th October product arrived approx 4 days later cancellation was on the 30th Oct on my reckoning the trial should start once the product has been received stupid to think you are in a trial period with no product. I think you are misleading the consumers and I for one will most definitely never order or recommend your product to anyone. Very disappointed with your service Elizabeth

I cannot trust your product because you are not open and honest about the fact that this product is advertised in $AU and sold at the checkout in $US. It's a small amount, sure but it is your attempt to disguise the true cost that I consider to be dishonest. In addition I tried several times to enter my correct address, but, although the post code is correct, it is still coming up as ACT, Australia. DO NOT PROCESS MY ORDER. If you entered your credit card details, you need to contact them asap!! and cancel the membership or they will take around $180 within 14 days, whether you receive the product or not.

I have now emailed you for the third time this week and haven’t heard back from you yet. I was disgusted with the amount of cream I received, it was less than a third of a jar and using it sparingly around my eyes I have nearly finished the jar. I paid the full amount for a whole product not just a sample, however, I feel that a mistake has occurred and sent a sample. If not it’s a complete scam and ripoff as I originally cancelled my order for the free sample and received a call back saying the company would send me a complete jar and oil (which I am happy with the oil) for a discount. I agreed! Considering how many times I have reached out to you and not even given a response is completely unprofessional in my opinion, and think I should not only get a reply but receive a full jar of idrotherepy cream or my money back, which is also something I have been disappointed for the reason that I didn’t receive my money back for postage of a product I didn’t purchase. In this case it’s not the money (as it was a few dollars) but the principle of the matter. I was not only talked into buying the complete product but was promised I would get my money back for the above. I am going to take the matter further if I don’t receive both an apology and a replacement jar for the absolute screw around. I know I am being persistent and you think I am a pain that will go away but I won’t! Put yourself in my place and think what you would do in my situation. Because they scam you into a monthly subscription which you don't know about and then it's nearly impossible to cancel because their easy cancel service means nothing. Go onto their live chat and get everything cancelled now before you lose hundreds of dollars.

To whom can I make a complaint other than to "support" etc. I have been contacting them sending emails and emails. They keep sending me the standard reply saying a rep. will contact me etc. They made one phone call to my land line phone, unfortunately that is on the blink and they didn't get a reply. I apologized and asked them to phone me on my mobile number. I gave them the number and times when I would be available. They have not rung me on this number. I have had another email saying they rang me again but they rang my land line after I gave them my mobile number. I tried to ring you on the number that you give for Australia on your standard reply. Unfortunately the operator came on and said this number was not in use. I did send a couple of emails saying this. I also sent a long email explaining what my problem was., this they replied to telling me they do not send emails. Please let me know to whom I can talk or send an email to. Thank you . Barbara Bell.
Ypu can't. They kept calling me too and I kept emailing telling them to respond by email (which they did). They won't refund, only cancel your 'subscription'. But if you find a way to get a refund, please let us know!!
I feel there must be something wrong with the banking system if you cannot cancel a payment being taken from your card. When I found out about the on going charges from Essence of Argan I went to my bank and was told I could dispute the payment (while more would probably be taken out ) or cancel my card . In my case i was using a Visa Debit card so it was my own money not credit.If a company is taking your money and you want to cancel payments then your bank should stop them you shouldn't have to cancel your card. Fortunately I got the payments stopped by contacting the company but the banks attitude seems strange to me .

My credit facility is currently investigating and the payments have been reversed pending the result - my card is now cancelled to avoid any further transactions although I’m told that my “subscription” that I never agreed too has now been cancelled

Does anyone know how to get money back from this dreadful scam? The supposed second delivery never came. When I spoke to the call centre I got only a partial refund of over $600 dollars.

How to stop payment?
Hi Narrale Canceling product can be done on their official website. Go to “Easy cancel” under “Menu” on their site map at the bottom of their home page. If you do this you have have conformed to their terms, this is for legal reason. This gives Essence of Argan no more reason to tale money out of your account. To be safe you will need to go to your bank and explain the situation and stop the payments. I am going to to my previous post were i believe i have got Essence of Argan on legal issues to receive a full refund including postage and packaging.
I want to cancel your product. I only signed up for the trial. You keep on billing me each month I am getting very angry about this.

Cancel your card only solution and easiest otherwise you waste time on these deceitful scammers. Luckily I read the reviews and cancelled my card straight away, they even have the cheek to question your intelligence about why you agreed to a subscription of this nature. Hair oil is so oily better to get the argan oil from countdown. All they do is charge, charge, charge no invoices no nothing. I feel for the people they have scammed and there seems to be a heap of people out there. It's just not worth the hassle I'm sending bad karma their way.

Did you's take any money out of my bank account because I never gave you permission to just take money when you want if you did it is against the law in Australia to do that. The amount was $158.57
This is a review site. You will need to contact the Essence of Argan company and tell them you want to cancel your subscription and to be refunded. You can also report this to your bank. There is a telephone number on their website for customer service in Australia.

You never stop do you Essence of Argan. Constantly taking money through subscription. Sending product without receipts, no tracking numbers at customers side, T&C at the bottom of original invoice, T&Cs with no white space so makes it difficult to read, in addition original receipt goes straight to spam. No real refund policy, stop your payment at the bank and cancel your credit card which is the only way to stop you guys. I have no faith in your company you informed me sending the products back was not necessary has this subscription issue was now in dispute. Shame on you. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Ho and i am still waiting for my Invoices/receipts with tracking numbers you were supposed to be sending me.

Go to your bank and block their withdraws and ask the bank to dispute past payment. You will have to cancel your credit card which will be a pain for most of you. Make sure you click right at the bottom to submit on that particular page. You will receive a Order ID.

don't delay, use their chat, and cancel your subscription, they may make you wait, but keep trying, and get a confirmation, that was my mistake I thought i cancelled, somehow months later i found out i didn't, in the end lost $700, they kept sending stuff

If you have just ordered, cancel your card and save yourself the headache. I was lured into this, but got to the payment page and stopped as I wasn't prepared to give my credit card. Only use Paypal now after being scammed previously.

I just have this afternoon and was pretty easy to deal with n close acct but providing I actually receive my refund as stated over the phone within 15days but after also having to pay to return the product but also charged a return admin n processing bloody fee of $9.97 like the original trial amount charge. So hopefully I will see the $152.55 which is the amount that I should see refunded to my bank account in the next 15 days so i can afford to pay for my already over due car registration and able to get my kids (single mum) from A to B again. WISH I SEEN THESE REVIEWS TO START WITH BEFORE I PROCEEDED ALSO!
