Hi, after receiving my recent repeat order, I saw that my credit account had been charged an International transaction fee along with the items price . Can you explain please ? Susan
Hi You claim that your detergent is plastic free yet it contains PVAs. Could you enlighten me. It's a shame because I love using the laundry sheets. Annette
Hey Annette Thanks a lot for reaching out and the great question, we appreciate it a lot! Hope you are having a great Friday so far :) Thanks so much for your support & order in the first place as well! Benjamin and I have just started the business in 2021 without any big corporates or investors involved so we are extremely grateful for every order that is being placed and so happy that this helps to reduce single use plastic in Australian households! It's currently still just the two of us in this small Aussie based business :)
Our laundry sheets currently still contain the ingredient Polyvinyl Alcohol / PVA for which there is a lot of misconception. We're currently trying to remove this from the formula (actually quite tricky). However, in general PVA dissolves into a non-harmful monomer; it does not turn into a microplastic. The scientific studies prove that the monomers eventually decompose into reusable nutrients over time. These non-toxic monomers are a whole lot better for our environment than the single-use plastics that wind up in our oceans and landfills. Polyvinyl alcohol is a synthetic polymer, which is a substance made up of many, many molecules all strung together. It starts its life as ethylene, a natural gaseous hormone given off by plants that cause the fruit to ripen. In this case, the ethylene is synthetically produced (but nature identical), then turned into vinyl acetate through a chemical reaction with oxygen and acetic acid (in diluted form known as vinegar), then polymerized (bonded to form repeating molecules) and then dissolved in alcohol to become a water-soluble polymer. PVA is so safe it's even used in contact lenses: external link

Hi, love the laundry sheets. I also Like my hand cleaner, however the hand pump works for a while and then stops. Liquid just oozes out. This is my third replacement pump so any answers??? I’ve tried running under water, pumping out air but nothing works. Very frustrating.
Hi, love the products but i am having problems with hand pump hand wash. They work for a while and then seize up. Won’t pump anymore product. This is my third problem with pump. Any answers?
Hey Debra, Thanks a lot for reaching out and the open & honest feedback, appreciate it a lot! Hope you are having a great day so far :) Thanks so much for your support and order in the first place as well! So sorry to hear :( before screwing on the foam top part onto the bottle had the tab been completely dissolved yet? There may be one reason causing the issue if the pump gets screwed on too early: inside the pump there is a small net, which turns the liquid to foam. The tab should be fully dissolved before using the foam pump or otherwise the net could get 'stuck' by the particles of the tab quite easily.
You should be able to fix your current pump by taking the pump off and trying to drain the air chamber. Sometimes you might also get water building up in the air chamber which you should be able to drain by moving it a few times upside down. Please let us know if that doesn't help and we will send you a replacement as soon as possible. Can you send me an email to hello@evercleaner.com.au with your best shipping address.

Hi, yes I left it for over an hour. Visually checked and no residues left. I also have the kitchen containers red, no problem there at all but a different pump. I’ve tried all of your suggestions, to no avail these are my replacement pumps so not sure where to go from here.
So sorry to hear and thanks for the update. Can you send me an email to hello@evercleaner.com.au with your best shipping address.

I have a problem with the laundry sheets when I wash my black clothes. They end up with white marks all over them. I dont have problems I can see with other clothes and I love the smell. Unfortunately my work clothes are all black and I dont want to have to wash them separately with another product. Any suggestions to remedy this?
Hi I'm thinking you're putting too much in the load.. You need the clothes in any wash to agitate and rinse with water, clothes can't do that if packed full... I've never had a problem but never overload I hope that helps
Hey Jo! Thanks a lot for reaching out and the open & honest feedback, appreciate it a lot! Hope you are having a great day so far :) Thanks so much for your support and order in the first place as well! Benjamin and I have just started the business in 2021 without any big corporates or investors involved so we are extremely grateful for every order that is being placed with and so happy that this helps to reduce single use plastic in Australian households! So sorry to hear :( the sheets are completely biodegradable & dissolvable even in cold water so normally shouldn't leave any residue. In general we recommend using one sheet for a regular load (up to 6-8kg) and half a sheet for smaller loads. If your machine is bigger (e.g. up to 11kg) we recommend using one and a half sheets :) You can also read more here: external link . Normally, our laundry sheets work with all water types & water temperatures and even dissolve via hand wash :) However, if the water is super cold or very hard this might lead to a slightly longer waiting time so it's best to only use half a sheet for a very quick e.g. just 15 min cycle / short program. Was there anything else (e.g. other laundry or other products) you added to the washing machine? Also, what type of cycle were you running with our laundry sheets?
Have a lovely rest of the day and very much looking forward to your response :) Best, Casper
Thanks for your response Casper. I have been using 2 sheets per load, which it seems is 1 too many. I thought a full load in an 8kg top loading machine would be considered a large load, so needed 2. Your instructions on the box say use 1 sheet for regular loads and 2 sheets for large loads.
I wasn’t using any other products in the wash and just running a normal cycle, not a short one, using warm water wash with cold Water rinse. I am in Melbourne, so not hard water.
I am surprised they didn’t dissolve completely regardless, as they disolve quickly when I use them for hand washing and rinse easily.
I will try just using 1 sheet and put it right at the bottom as per instructions. I usually forget to put the sheet in until I have loaded the machine so just push them down the side as close to the bottom as I can.
I do love your product and the clean fresh smell it leaves. I also love not having powder spilt everywhere. Thanks. Jo
Thanks for all the feedback, we really appreciate it. Let me know how everything is going! Have a lovely rest of your day! Best, Casper
Hi Jo, I’ve been using the washing sheets for quite some time. My loads consist of all colours including darks I don’t have a problem with white streaks on dark clothing. I use a top loader and most of the time 2 sheets. Always make sure the detergent sheets go in first, as I think that maybe your problem. Sometimes at caravan parks I have a problem but think it is the machines, they need the bowls cleaned first. Good luck Prue
Hi,
Love the idea of your products I am enquiring you say in FAQS that are septic tank friendly our sceptic tank has worms in it is a plant not the normal septic tank
Thanks
Marlene
Hey Marlene :) have just replied to your two emails! So sorry for the slight delay in getting back to you - since it's just Benjamin and myself in this small Aussie business we always need a few business days to get back. Hope you can understand :) Best, Casper
Is the hand wash antibacterial?
Hey there! Thanks so much for reaching out :) very much appreciated - great question! We do not claim our products to be antibacterial or disinfecting. Our formulas do not include the biocides that are usually included in antibacterial products because they do not meet our standards for health and safety. At evercleaner, we want to make our products optimal for effectiveness as well as human and environmental health. There are several studies that show non-antibacterial products are effective at removing germs. We do include surfactants that reduce surface tension to effectively lift up bacteria and viruses to easily clean them away and you can read more about it from the World Health Organization.
Let me know if you have any further questions, happy to help :) have a lovely rest of your day! Best, Casper

can you tell me where are your products made please, can not seem to find out this info anywhere.
Hey there :) Thanks so much for your question here on Product Review :) We are 100% Aussie owned and operating from Langwarrin, VIC. Benjamin and I have just started this new business a few months ago and we are very excited about what lies ahead. It's currently just the two of us without any big corporations or investors involved.
Unfortunately, the products are currently still made overseas as we couldn't find any Aussie manufacturer that is able to supply them in the packaging we want and have at the moment (fully compostable (!!!), no microplastics etc.). But since we are operating 100% from Australia we'd like that to change in the near future to a) manufacture the product here locally and b) find a domestic solution that can also package the products in compostable packaging like we have them now.
Please let me know in case you have any further questions or feedback, super happy to help! We are grateful for any input we can get so we can learn and improve our new business! Have a lovely Friday and enjoy the weekend :)
Best, Casper
Hi. A year later, have you managed to find a way to make the products in Australia? I'd love to know that the carbon footprint is just as enviro-friendly as the compostable packaging.
Hey Ally :) great questions! Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find a way yet but are working hard with local manufacturers and industry. Over the last 20 years Australia has so much reduced their manufacturing capabilities that almost none of the raw materials used in household products actually get made here anymore and also machinery for innovative products like laundry sheets is not available. Also just to note when just switching the actual production of the final product to Australia this would actually not significantly reduce any emissions from transport as all ingredients would still have to be imported. So Benjamin and I are trying to look at the entire supply chain and will try to improve an all levels to really create an impact :) hope that sounds good!
Our parcel delivery is actually however Carbon Negative via our partner company Offset® - that means we plant and protect trees to remove more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than we actually emit.
We have also has teamed up with plasticbank® to collect one plastic bottle from the ocean for every item sold. So you don't only save plastic bottles by using our products and making single use plastic bottles obsolete, we actually remove one additional plastic bottle from the ocean. So far we have already collected almost 300,000 bottles from the ocean!
Have a lovely weekend :) Best, Casper
Where are they made and shipped from .. I am in Australia

Hope that makes sense :)

The question above was where are they made and shipped from. Your reply is another repeatitive long winded non-answer. I think its clear that SallyRose was asking for a specific location. Can you please be specific on whether the polyvinyl alcohol in your laundry sheets is made using petroleum/ fossil fuels or is it made from sugarcane ? If the answer is petroleum based using fossil fuels, do you have a vision to convert to PVA made with sugarcane and possibly even renewable energy ? Thanks
