Can I crush biscuits in the mix n go?
Hi Leigh, The George Foreman Mix and Go 21820AU is a versatile blender designed for smoothies, shakes, and similar beverages. While it’s primarily intended for soft ingredients like fruits and liquids, it might be able to crush biscuits or cookies, but this would depend on the hardness of the biscuits. For best results, break the biscuits into smaller pieces before placing them in the blender. If the biscuits are particularly thick or hard, they might not blend smoothly as softer ingredients and could potentially cause strain on the motor. You could try blending the biscuits in small batches and add a little liquid like milk or water to help the process. Should you wish to discuss this further, please reach out to our Customer Service Team our contact details are found here: info@spectrumbrands.com.au George Foreman Customer Service
Thank you
Hi, looking for a replacement of a 1,5ltr glass jug which I accidentally cracked. Just need the glass part but I haven´t managed to find it anywhere online. Its probably an older model, not sure about the model number, George foreman Mix and go pro. Any tips or suggestions where can I buy this spare part? Many thanks
If you can find the same unit on sale somewhere, I think it would cheaper to buy than to try to replace just the glass. I see in comments that someone bought a black friday special for $39. Good luck
Yeah, I think so too.. bit said tho ... wasting whole unit coz of cracked glass . I read that comment also, I know that they arent pricey just thought someone somewhere might have a spare part. Ill keep looking around. Cheers mate
The blade piece on our one has broken away after grinding cacao nibs. Are there any replacement parts available?
When I had an issue with my unit, it was cheaper to buy a new unit when on special tho I don't know if Target are still distributing the unit. Anyway, I found my old Instruction book and the Australian Supplier is Spectrum Brands Australia Here is the contact number 1800 623 118Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm AEST
Thanks for the info.
can l whip cream in the blender
Sorry, never tried but may work on very slow speed. Don't think it would aerate the cream like beaters or whisk.
My glass jug cracked and will fall apart soon. Does anyone know where in Melbourne can I get a replacement jug please ?
Had a similar issue and if I recall, I found a parts warehouse but price was over $40. Because a complete unit was on special at Target, I found it cheaper just to buy the full set.
I have been using this one but started need to buy new machine, that's why I want to know the price.
Mix & Go blender model that I have is : 21820AU.
Please inform where I can send my unit for repairs in Melbourne ( Ferntree Gully area). Further if I need some spares ,from where can I buy it. Your urgent reply would be highly appreciated. Regards.
The sales/service centre is in Moorabbin near the Airport, Spectrum Brands Australia Pty. Ltd 1800 623 118 Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm AEST Address: 1 Chifley Drive, Mentone VIC 3194 Phone: (03) 8551 5000. Probably where you bought it may get the parts in for you. I found it has some problems but as usual I find today's products do not last as long as they used to. external link is the website. Hope this helps. Gerry.
My blade assembly has cross threaded itself when I was using it this morning. I cant get it out, any suggestions please?
Sounds like it was overloaded and may mean the blade assembly is destroyed. If not warrantable it might be cheapest to throw it out and replace.
Yes I noticed that is a store demo model, mine just started making screeching noises as the bearings seem to be wearing fast, black oily junk under the cutter base.
