Wanted to get the manual. Is the general manual for the professional model the same As The original gme tx6600s ?

G'day, personally I'm not sure. Isn't the pro model manual on their website? I don't think there is a lot of difference between the two only that if a user wants to work outside the cb band it has to be programed by gme or I suppose an authorized dealer that can perform the programming.. Good luck.

The whole thing had to be totally replaced with a Brand New unit. All good now except for The rechargeable lithium ion battery pack

The lithium ion rechargeable battery pack seems to be running lower faster than expected or could I be transmitting a bit too often ?

Never mind

Might buy a new version radio or maybe even fix Up the other radio

Stephen Hinder
Stephen Hinder

G'day Brian, very simple quick press of the MENU /F button then a quick press on the QUIET/PWR button. The power output will be displayed. You can repeat the process till the required output. 100mw, 1w,5w.. Good luck

It worked

Thanks again

A similar situation is with turning On and Off the duplex to access the UHF cb Radio channel repeaters Press the function key then proceed to press the button On the right

Such a small effort to achieve alright power supply output

What's the lighting on the screen like

Plus how does it work ?

Stephen Hinder
Stephen Hinder

G'day Brian, lighting on the OLED screen is very good. But the screen size is disappointing compared to its predecessor. Works very well but programming can be complicated..

Aware if compares to the ICOM IC 41 pro ?

Stephen Hinder
Stephen Hinder

I Dunno anything about the ICOM IC 41 pro. I looked it up. It appears to lack 402-520MHz coverage, to many settings needed to be set by dealer...

Programming the recieve only channels got to 81 mow stuck. Thanks

Stephen Hinder
Stephen Hinder

G'day Mjd, I haven't added that many channels as yet. Personally I'd get in touch with gme customers service. They are really good. Or you could do a factory reset but you will have to reprogram the unit. But I'd avoid that unless the radio is really playing up. Good luck!

brian
brian

I would recommend something similar.

I only use the radios on the UHF cb Radio channels

brian

The vertex standard was playing up so I decided to change the whole unit not only the lithium ion rechargeable battery pack

Like stated Can contact gme . I'm also pretty sure that Can get the radio shops to program IT for you As well. There's also a Shop in Melbourne VICTORIA Australia. It's called radio warehouse though, would recommend to go directly into the radio store and ask One of the employees
