Heatstrip Classic THH3200A Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: THH3200AI am having trouble pairing the app. When I hold the + button it does not change to the blinking cc.
Would love assistance.
I am having the same issue trying to get it into pairing mode. Did you find a solution?
I contacted the company and they replaced the unit
I would like to heat a covered Pergola (triangular roof) area of 8m x 5m area. Would 2 THH3200A be more than enough to cover almost the whole area ? Also the pros and cons of installation directly above (my case will need long pole for height) vs on side of pergola ? Thank you.
They will work great I have a 3m x 3m hot tub awning in the snowy mountains and it works great
Hi Mel, thankyou for your message to thermofilm Australia, if your application is a enclosed location this unit will cover a total of 6.4m2. these units are a gentle radiant heater suitable in application enclosed or in spot heating, so place 1 to 2 units directly above a seating area to cover that area.
for a large application like your i would suggest a element glow design unit like the MAXDCR or INTENSE range these units can double the coverage of the CLASSIC model.
is it possible you could email me some images of your application and i can go into more detail of how to place the units and what unit will suite you application. b.paris@thermofilm.com.au
Hi We have purchased a 3200 with remote and have hardwired to a “single gang” and have been advised that we cannot have the matching heatstrip controller switch ? Is this correct ?
Hi, correct the THE3200R is not compatible with the TT-MTM Hardwired wall controller. If you require further information, please contact sales@thermofilm.com.au
how does this product compare to Rinnai 3200 w strip heater
Sorry I can not assist in the comparison. I can however recommend the Heatstrip and the warranty provided
We live in the mountains in the snowy it works perfectly we use it when we are in our hot tub I would recommend it highly
I have purchased and hardwired 2 x THH3200A Heaters a 1 x Controller. My Electrician can not wire both to 1 controller due to the 24.5 amps drawing. Do you have an updated larger controller as do not want 2 controllers on the wall
Hi Brett, Thank you for your enquiry, It is possible to use one wall controller to control multiple heaters. The wall controller is rated at 16 Amps and 240 volts. For larger current draw, talk to your electrician who can use a relay or connector to connect more units.
The TT-MTM hardwired controller modulates the heat output using a "timed on / timed off function. the Controller does not modulate the voltage output. A relay is therefore suitable for this application.
if you require further information or assistance, please contact sales@thermofilm.com.au.
