Hifly HF805 Questions & Answers
what is recommended tire pressure?
36psi to 38psi depending on your driving comfort
How are some of the above "reviews" obviously written by imbeciles?
As a former tyre tech, 'I hear you bro'! Like the Subaru giving a bad review because all the tyres wore out in the centre... Doh, inflated too much! (pressure too high) NOT the fault of the tyre! However it does sound like there was a faulty batch. Be interesting if ppl would post the size, pattern, place of manufacture & date code of those.
What psi is the norm for these tyres?
Psi would be standard to what your vehicle requires. Check what your cars Psi limits and are and inflate them to that
Psi is standard to what your car says it should be.
PSI for my car is located on the panel inside the drivers side door, that is what I inflate to - L
The plaquard on the vehicle is just a guide. If your tyres are wearing in the middle, the pressure is too high. Wearing on BOTH outside edges, too low. If your tyres are wearing just one outer side, that is wheel alignment, not pressure. But consider, once your tyre has uneven wear, correcting the pressure to wear evenly will not 'correct' the uneven wear. The tyres will then just wear evenly across the existing uneven wear. They just won't get any worse. It's really too late. But you can try to compensate and correct by changing the pressure more, but you risk degrading performance (grip or fuel economy).
I want to know treadware please?
Tyre was one year old and had over 50% tread left.
I have mine fitted to a Falcon Ute and I run pressures slightly higher than Fords suggests. I often tow a trailer and have tools in the the back almost all the time. These tyres wear evenly but in my experience the tend to wear the middle before the shoulders. Do yourself a favor and rotate them every 10,000-15,000km and get your wheels aligned at the same time. You should get 60-70k out of them. they do get a little noisy towards the end of their life but they are low profile tyres after all.
Hope this helps.?
