Hi - my Roomba 637 has suddenly stopped working. It shows a green light when switched on and displays a green battery picture however when you press clean again to get it started, it just beeps once. I have cleaned it, reset, rebooted etc. At no time during any of these processes do I get the white ring around the clean button - just a single beep. Any ideas would be really appreciated please.

My 630 (not wifi or app model) has bn great for several years But now will only spot clean or clean if I take it to another room 3-4 rooms away & press dock so it cleans while looking for dock .. even if it takes a while to find (usually does) when I press the normal clean button it does nothing .. on dock or off dock..& no sound as used to.. I have removed battery & reinserted to reset chip but made no difference .. I considered battery needing replacing, but it will spot clean multiple times till I get sick of doing or clean for half hr or more while looking for dock.. so it does hold charge & clean..

can the clean button itself die? But it’s never bn abused or mistreated.. any ideas..

Hi,

I've got a Roomba 637 that's worked well for a number of years. However, today when I tried to start it today, it would move for a couple of seconds, then stop, beep and show the red warning light. It didn't announce any error.

So, I've cleaned it's visual sensors with alcohol and used compressed air to blow out around the touch sensors and wheel. Now, it doesn't even give me the red warning light. When I press clean it just gives a single beep.

I've put it back on the charger, even though the battery indicator is showing green.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

New 692. In manual mode does it go to base after a time or does it go till stopped, or switched off. Thanks Graham.

Hello, I have replaced my 630 battery with a roomba certified battery. I have not used the 630 for several months. WHen I tried again (after charging it), it started showing this behavior : - Starts OK, leaves docking station - rotates on itself, brushes starting, a little - Stops and says "please charge roomba" + red light.

Tried so far, without any result : - tested the battery with a tester (shows a good voltage, 14,5V) - cleaned the contacts - resetting battery (10 seconds on Spot + Dock) - full reset (10 secs on Spot + Dock + Clean)

What else can I try ?

Error 14 Tried rebooting but still leaves the dock then stops, announcing error 14. Fully charged and cleaned

Hi Bev Error 14 means the Roomba is not detecting an bin has been installed. Please confirm that the bin is installed properly. Also, wipe the bin contacts on both the bin and robot with a nylon scourer or a Magic Eraser.

Hello, While my Roomba is running I hear a clicking noise. When I turned it over I see the little round thing that has the brush attached (three of them) only one brush remains. Would that cause a loud clicking? If not what else could I check for? Thank you.

Can you set this up so it only vacuums one area, for example the kitchen, on a daily basis. My son is a very messy eater so this area we have to vacuum every day! However the rest of the house doesn't need to be cleaned so frequently. Thanks.

Can I use a non genuine battery in a robot 630?

We have IRoomba 630. We are getting error 1. We have addressed everything in the fault description and still no joy.When you line it up with the charger it gives the correct sounds,green charger light comes on,Roomba starts to flash orange as though it’s charging then about three flashes in it reverts back to error 1 and charger light goes out.

My iRobot Roomba 637 has suddenly stopped working. It’s docked and the battery light on the docking station flashes green for about 20 seconds then turns off.; the amber light on the Roomba changes from amber ti green quickly. I then press clean and it leaves the docking station but stops almost immediately with the red error symbol appearing. We have cleaned all of the components that we normally do, and have cleaned the charging pads on the docking station. It’s 3 years old. I don’t know what else to do. Any ideas for next steps? Thank you

How far will the Roomba go from the base station?

Hi Pozzo, your Roomba will be able to go as far as possible within the confines of the movable space. The only caveat is that battery life may not be sufficient depending on the size of your space.
