Hi our 760 on charge shows full charge however when it releases to clean goes 2 feet and stops suggestions please if known?

how long does a battery last, I charge my robot , it goes for 3 minutes, then stops, Do i need a new battery?

Hi Ailsa, thank you for your enquiry. To ensure you are getting the best performance from your battery use only iRobot batteries. The Roomba is powered by a rechargeable battery, which will deliver more cleaning cycles when used regularly. Keep Roomba plugged in when not in use. If you don't have a Home Base, keep Roomba plugged into the charger. Charge and store Roomba in a cool, dry place. Keep the Roomba clean from hair and debris, as it will strain and exhaust the battery faster.
Recharge Roomba as soon as possible following use; waiting several days can damage the battery. If Roomba will not be used for more than a few weeks, store the robot in a cool, dry place. Fully charge the battery at least once every six months for optimal performance.
