G'day Cally T., Great questions, thanks for asking! Our mattresses are just as comfy on any bed base! We just recommend making sure your base is well ventilated so the mattress gets enough airflow, so you get all the benefits it was designed to give!

The Calm As Mattress is the firmer mattress in our range, so if you're after a softer matty we'd recommend either the Soul Mate (which is our softest, most plush mattress) or The Koala Mattress :)

There are two option for the memory foam, so you can choose medium firm and super firm. Its's a bit sad that you won't be able to try on before purchasing but they will offer you the comfort guarantee (you can return it back if you are not happy with) I am not a seller, so please don't ask me but, I am satisfied with the bed and their customer services. just contact them. G'day priceless21, Thanks so much for reaching out, great question! It depends which mattress you're looking at. All of our mattresses are made from CertiPUR-US certified foam with Kloudcell™ technology to keep you comfy as can be!

The mattresses in our range come with a flippable bamboo charcoal-infused Kloudcell™ comfort layer, as well as a layer of Kloudcell™ a little further down the layers amongst all the other good stuff to give you support in all the right places, but makes sure you're keeping cool as a cucumber while you're snoozing and avoids that sinking feeling you might have with traditional memory foam.

Of course you can , that’s how I have it. The mattress has non slip bottom that makes it stays perfectly on any surface .

Thanks. Just measured my slats and unfortunately the gap is wider than the recommended 7.5cm. So will have to go for a normal mattress

G'day Jibs, Great question, thanks for asking! Our mattresses are built to work with almost any base, as long as it has enough ventilation to allow air to circulate through the mattress. If you're using a slatted base, we do recommend the slats are no more than 7.5cm apart to make sure you've got all the support you need! I have chronic lower back pain and have had absolutely no pain since getting this mattress. It takes a good week to break in, so you will need to take this into account. Was very, very firm, even on the medium side of the top layer, but it adjusted in about 7 days and has been perfect ever since. My husband is a restless sleeper and don't feel him moving at all. Well worth it!!

We'd recommend speaking with a medical professional about whether it's the right mattress for you to fix up your pain, but it does offer support where you need it most :)
