I recently bought one at a garage sale and so far nothing is happening I turn it on and wait and then all the lights flash and I can't turn it off unless I switch it off at the wall socket, does anyone have any ideas or do I just give up I did buy it knowing the brand name thinking it was a good product?

Hi, we never had this problem sorry can't help. We bought another krups recently, its pretty good, slightly different coffee.
