Fridge temp is set up to 5C and freezer -17C but actual temps are 12C and 3C. Any idea what's wrong? Thank you

I'm having the same issue and the fridge is almost 5 years old

Our GF-B590PL 2 door fridge is quite good but occasionally it develops this high pitched noise. It sound like to me as a bearing noise. Today it has been going for about 2 hours. There are no flashing light etc to indicate there is any faults. Your insight to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Colin

Ours can be quite noisy but usually for shorter periods. Unfortunately we have had no support from LG as all 'service calls' are at our cost unless their technicians agree with us about issues. The call out fee we had to agree to be liable for was too high to be worthwhile.

Are the external surfaces of "Stainless Finish" fridges as durable as "proper" stainless steel or regular white painted external surfaces?

They seem to be so... and do not show finger prints

Some reviewers have said that contrary to the feature of the linear compressor, this is a "very noisy fridge, not suitable for open-plan living". Is there a technical specification on the noise level available anywhere?

Not sure about other reviewers but our LG GF B590MBL fridge is so quiet we often open it just to check it's actually working. We have a small house and hear every little squeak and creak but nothing from our fridge. Of all the wonderful features, the quiet operation is one of our favourites. Maybe you could check which model the other reviewers were referring to?

Thanks for all replies. Have taken delivery of fridge and found that it is quite quiet.
