I own a 2012 CDI 250 with108.000 Ks on clock great car but it has developed a small engine oil leak . I have had it checked . It is hard to find the source where it is coming from , I have cleaned the engine and it seems to stem from around the oil filter where it enters the block. any solution and cost to repair it.

Just wondering my dashboard lights for ECO and Sports (red light) keeps going on and off and it swicthes from Sports mode to ECO while on low speed by itself from time to time. Could this be and electrical issue?

I have a 2011 C250 Mercedes and it is truly the best car I have ever driven. Very happy with it EXCEPT for the navigation system. It has been upgraded and back in a Mercedes dealer more times that I can count. When its good it s very good which is not very often. It goes "off road" and looses it totally. It could end un in the ocean, up the mountains, across national parks, you name it. When we drive back from Tassie it spends the next 3 to 4 days in Bass Strait. Eventually it finds itself again, until the next time. It frustrates me no end. Has any one else had similar experiences and did they fix it?

Get a diagnostic test. Probably accelerator paddle. Never buy a Mercedes or BMW. Stick to JAP or Korean made. Germans don't have the technology to make reliable and durable cars.

I need to fit three child seats in the back seat. Is this an option? I was upsizing from a smaller MB, but have realised the back seat width is negligible at 140cm.

Would love to hear some feedback either way. Thanks.

I personally never had to fit child seats however I can guess that two would fit easily but the third one in the middle might be a bit of a squeeze. The answer will also likely be dependant on the size of the child seats in question also.

how would this car be for a family of 5 visiting UK for 3 weeks as a rental car with 3 boys 16, 19 and 21 years old all 6 foot to 6 foot 2 in tall ie. is there enough space for a grown family and luggage. Luggage is only for to and from airport.

The outside rear seats will accomodate taller people because the front seats are indented to allow for greater knee room. However the middle rear seat would be a squeeze for anyone other than a child, largely because of the lack of legroom and the transmission tunnel. There would be no problem with the luggage but in my opinion this car wouldn't be ideal for a big family for 3 weeks because of that rear middle seat. Plus if the driver is tall that seat may have to be further back which will cut down room for that rear passenger.

A (diesel) Ford Mondeo wagon would be better (albeit less luxurious). Hope this helps.

Hi Tony

The rear seats are pretty large my two lads are similar size as yours, three may be a little cramped though. Sounds like you may need something a little larger like SUV or people mover.
