18 inch lc200 series. Tows caravan. Mostly on black top. Also stone chip and sand trails. What tyre choices?

Well to be frank there are other tyres out there that will outperform these with ease. The 38 th develop flat spot if left standing for any length of time. The deaganscist 440 each and aren't particularly either good on the wet or anything for that matter. They just couldn't get balanced properly ever. I got the khumos for my fj cruiser and straight away I felt the improvements In noise, traction on and off road. The best thing I did in my life is to get rid of them.

I see a few postings regarding deegan 38 having flat spots when left for a while, my 79 series dual cab cruiser sits for up to 2 weeks without use and I've not had any flat spot issues , I check my pressure 2-4 weekly and run at 40psi the last tyres I had I got 65k Bridgestone absolutely crap I've got at least 60 k atm on my current deegan 38 and still got plenty left on them I also have a Subaru imprezza with kumo on it and they have done 50 k and still heaps on them I cannot fault the deegan 38 and find them fantastic I just hope I can get them again 10/10

The 31x10.5R15's I have, have raised painted letters only on one side. Just check at your local dealer if they have one in stock for you to check out would be the go.

I have a brand new set about 700 kms old over mostly bitumen and some beach sand with tyre pressure at 25 and I have blown a side wall out on one and have gotten a gold ball size egg on another tyre side wall!! Not impressed and am wondering if this is something I should be enquiring about?
