Wanting to purchase this split system and can see from looking at the manual for the remote there is an eco function for cooling but is there one for heating?

We just had an agent give a quote for our large open space thinking the 9 kw would be best but he recommended to 8 kw Now not sure how to proceed

Always go capacity (as much as you can afford) within reason. Summers are only going to get hotter and you want an AC which isn't struggling (and chewing through the electricity) to keep you home cool.

Can you two mutil head with 9 kw reverse cycle? I would like to know the cost of 9kw unit plus the installation cost

Hi Le Le, The MSZ-AS90VGD is only available as single split systems – it cannot be connected to multi split outdoor units. We have multi-split systems that connect to other wall mounted indoor units.

Hi I am looking to purchase a new split system for approx 70m2 L shaped living. It has large North facing windows, 2.4m high ceilings with a skillion roof without insulation, however, the walls have very thick insulation. Please advise what model etc I should be considering. Thank you in advance. Terry

What is the refrigerant used in this system please. I note very few manufacturers specify this. As this unit would replace an existing Mitsubishi MUH-GA80VB I need to know if existing pipes can be used.

Typically nowadays most use r32. There should be no oil contamination issues with the pipes, therefore should be reused unless different sizes are needed for the new unit, and on their condition.

Hi Retrofeller, We mention the refrigerant on all our refrigerator web pages in the Specifications section. The pipe sizes between the models you have mentioned are different and require replacing.

MSZ/MUZ-AS90 is R32 Pipes are ¼” ½”

MUH-GA80VB is R410 Pipes are 3/8” 5/8”

I am looking to cool a 50m x 20 metre shed kit with height of 4 metres. To cool a room evenly like this how many units would I need and what price would that be. I am prepared to buy 8 buy would like to know the square metre coverage on this unit and the power usage Aswell
