How often does the filter need to be changed?
It is recommended that the HEPA Filter and the Activated Carbon Filter in the Mitsubishi Electric E85R Air Purifier be replaced when: The Replace Filter lamp lights up This occurs after approximately 8 years with “Silent” manual operation and approximately 1.6 years with “Turbo” manual operation The HEPA Filter becomes very dirty and omits bad odours Odours cannot be removed from the Activated Carbon Filter after soaking and washing it Full instructions for cleaning and replacing the air purifier filters can be found in the user manual.
