Hi, can someone tell me what the two white switches in the boot of the Opalite Karinya 570 are for. The one on the left seems to change 249v system to the 12v system but I can't find what the one on the right is for. They are two white ordinary house light switches. Thanks Allan
Hi, our son's Opalite Jellybean has a broken winch cable which prevents the roof from being raised or lowered. We are having a lot of trouble trying to locate a repairer who works on or has worked on these things! Can someone point us in the right direction? Hi, you might have fixed your problem by now, but incase you haven't, we just had the same problem, with an electric winch, and after much asking finally found a place in Nowra who fixed the winch for us. If you need details get back to me.
Hi Melinda, thank you for responding to my concerns re broken Opalite camper. After much searching, we found a bloke who fixed it. He had not worked on Opalite before but had done several Jayco's. I had one quote from an established caravan repairer who quoted me $2,000 a corner (8 grand!) The bloke who did repair it (it had been repaired before, bodgy job) charged us $500. There are some thieves out there in the caravan business. Thanks again. Alan. 8.10.23.
