Most of the toothbrush is waterproof but the charging stand isn't.

You should be able to change the rechargable battery. Just Google the instructions :)

I would take it back to where you purchased it or contact the manufacturer

Check two things. 1. Did you get any water on the charger? 2. Did you plug in the charger properly? If not, as unhappy customer said, take it back to where you purchased it or contact the manafacturer. There should be a 30 days gurantee back on it. This is for if you have already used it. You need the original receipt copy and packaging though and shipping costs are out of pocket.

Good Luck.

How do you clean the brush-heads? I've tried flushing water through them, etc, they still end up yukky.

When I've finished brushing, I leave it on the handle, keep it turned on, and just run the vibrating brush head under the tap. Then I take it off, check it and give it another rinse and store it standing up on the back of the sink. I wipe the handle down and put it back on the charger. My sister had the same problem and this sorted it out. She was also using too much toothpaste, you only need the size of a pea.

The official cleaning instructions say to hold the vibrating brush head face-down under running water for a few seconds and then to take the brush head off to rinse. Dry the brush head and then reattach it to the handle. This should be done after every time you brush your teeth.

Thanks but I've been doing that for years (except "drying the brush head" which would probably work, but realistically how do you dry that in any time-efficient manner?) and still some dilute gunk runs down the handpiece and winds up on the inductive charger - where it dries out and accumulates. I think that's just how it is.
