Does anyone have the trouble of the shoot blocking up when doing fibrous veg like say celery..............and also a lot of froth?....................
Celery is a problem particularly if not cut into small pieces i have also found removing the Kale leaf from its stem is not only better for juicing it is a lot sweeter without it. In spite what is said i find cutting items into smaller pieces is better not only for the juicer but for the speed of the machine. But i am now using a slow juixcer i bought at Kmart for $79 after my Oscar did a bearing it not only makes Juice without needing to sift it is easeier to clean. Good luck.
How do I easily remove the brown plaque that slowly accumulates inside the juicer?
I have not had this problem. It may depend on what you are jucing. I do wash clean my jucer and brush the strainer thoroughly each time i use it and soak it in a light bleach every so often to get rid of carrot stains which is the main stain i get in my juicers.
