Could you please advise why in heat mode, at times the unit doesn't respond to the remote? For example, I will have the unit running at 21 degrees on powerful mode. The room will heat up quickly, so I turn powerful mode off, expecting the unit to continue at my selected settings to maintain heat. I notice the system then blows out very low warm air and the room temperature drops below 21 (I bought a temperature gauge to check). I then turn the remote heat up to 23 but the unit just continues to blow low warm air. The remote will respond to all functions but the fan speed. The unit just continues to blow very light warm air. To get the unit to respond, I have to either restart the unit or turn the heat up to 25 plus and then it seems to kick in and respond again. Once responding, the room temperature goes up and matches the unit I am not sure what is going on and would love to know! Thanks Gina

All I can advise is maybe your response panel needs fixing. That’s a part in the unit that takes the response from the control

I have exactly the same problem. Starts up OK but fails to maintain set Temp. As I have a low ceiling and the A/C unit is close to the ceiling I think the warm air near the ceiling is controlling the unit rather than the room Temp lower down. When I opened the front and back doors slightly to allow a draught to flow through the room the A/C performed perfectly. A ceiling fan would probably solve the problem. I think the location of the unit is the problem, at least in my case

Hello, I sold the apartment that had this heater. I feel for the people who purchased it as it’s such a confusing heater that we could never get to work properly. It would just blow cold air on us and struggled to warm our apartment. We had low ceilings too so maybe that was the issue.

Why does my brand new air con installed only two days ago make gurgling sounds? Is this normal?

It could be the drain from the indoor unit is not installed correctly. Was the the system vac pumped and installed to the Panasonic specifications?

Hmm, I've never really noticed mine gurgling, unlike my ducted, roof mounted evaporative cooler

Actually - I realise mine also makes gurgling noises, but only just before it starts pumping out hot air and it stops then. Think I have heard it in other units too ..maybe its just the gas circulating round. It works great anyway

Thanks blissin, that what is happening to mine. The bloke who gassed it is coming around to check out whether there are air pockets causing it.
