PGH Bricks & Pavers Questions & Answers
VerifiedWe have built using PGH Vanilla Ice bricks. The bricks were laid in April this year. It is now September and the colour has now been significantly washed off so base brick colour underneath is showing through. They look terrible. We have viewed another home built with Vanilla Ice bricks about 4 years ago that we used to guide us and their bricks have lost little of the original colour. Anyone else having this issue with painted bricks?
Our Site Supervisor told us they no longer clean the really light coloured bricks because of the colour change problems.
Thanks for the comment Happy Driver. It could be that is what has occurred. when they were laid they were just ok, now awful.
Hi Trevor, we regret to hear about your recent experience as this is not the outcome we want our customers to have. We would very much appreciate the opportunity to find out more and look into the issues you have reported. If you would like us to, please reach out to us at pghmarketing@csr.com.au or call us on 13 15 79. Thank you The PGH Bricks Team
could you please tell me who is the state manager for P G H bricks
Sorry Spencer, I do not know. We have had two PGH reps look at our bricks and both have submitted a report saying the bricks look as they should. An inspector from QBCC has inspected the bricks and reported they are brown bricks with the orange base colour showing through nearly all of them. Our bricks are Grey Stone, originally a grey brick. Terrible bricks with no company support.
Will never use Pgh again . Rubbish product with no support.
Hi Spencer, if you would like to get in contact with us in regards to your circumstances, please call us on 13 15 79 or email us at pghmarketing@csr.com.au and we reach out to you.
Hi Shirley, could you please call Garry on [Contact Details Removed] regarding an issue with newly laid bricks.

Has anyone had trouble with the yellowing coming through the PGH Sorbetto Bricks? We have chosen these bricks for our build later on this year but we have seen some examples of this yellowing coming through, just wondering if it's just a bad batch of these bricks or its a common occurence
Thanks for sharing this information to us. Did you paid it directly to Schofiled Display Centre or to CSR? How much did you pay for 1,000 piece.
From Chris
Hi Chris, we dealt directly with our builder re payment. Cost of the bricks were included in our quote but we had to pay extra to have Smoke as they weren't part of the standard selection offered by our builder. Cheers
