Avoid Planet Timbers Osborne Park who we engaged to install solid timber flooring at our home and refused to do rework claiming "minimum standard was good enough"? The contamination and ordinary finish is something we are now forced to live with, and their people are just excuse-makers (failing to address quality issues all through the job). Planet Timbers are nothing more than a showroom/warehouse who "sub-contract" the work out to ordinary/poor so-called tradesman. If you expect their floors to look like their sample boards, good luck with that. Don't be nervous, seek assurances and ask for references, recommendations, etc about the trades who will actually be doing the work. They claimed they only use "ATFA accredited installers" in their contract documentation, however after experiencing "poor workmanship" we checked the ATFA register and their installer/final finish people were NOT LISTED.
