Does the Aeron has more than two recline options? The promos all show the seat either upright or completely flat.

Hi Brittaney, the AERON has 3 seat positions, flat, semi-reclined and fully upright for comfort and support for all ages.

What if I have to fold with the newborn pod? Will it fold? I would imagine it just be a bit thick to fold completely and lock up, but that is okay if I am just putting it in the boot laying flat?

Hi! FTM due in a few weeks and have just received my Aeron. Can anyone share your experience using it with the bassinet (not the newborn pod)? I love how it's compact and lightweight and easy to fold, but just needing some assurance with the overall sturdiness and longevity to last a few years (especially when I'm seeing lots of Uppababy Vistas around - I'm not needing a dual pram). Thanks!

Can anyone provide feedback on the capability of the aeron pram on grass or a non smooth surface ? Tia

I wouldn’t recommend for uneven and rough terrain. I have taken it on packed gravel and grass and it has fared well. However this pram is better suited for even, hard ground.

Hello, can anyone comment on the suitability of the Aeron for their newborn? Have you opted for the pod or full bassinet? I’m a little reluctant about the straps in use for the pod but on the flip side, I like the idea of having less bulk to store when we’re finished with it. Thank you!

Just received our Aeron today and had a play. Not entirely convinced with the newborn pod though. It’s fiddly to attach and just doesn’t seem to sit quite right. I don’t really know how this would be comfortable/SIDS safe for a newborn with so much excess straps when pulled tight to fit (especially if they’re swaddled). I removed the back rest pad just so it would be a bit more flat, but it still feels lumpy. The instruction manual also says not to fold the pram with the pod attached…which is a pain in my opinion to feed the straps in and out every single time. The pro of it though is that it doesn’t take a lot of space when removed (like a bassinet would if you were to chuck it in the boot, or store it when no longer in use). Baby hasn’t arrived yet so can’t fully test how comfortable they would be in it. To be honest though I think I would’ve rathered just spend the extra for the bassinet and have a click on/off system than feeding these straps through every time to attach the pod.

Mmmmmm. Thanks for your reply. I’ve been mulling this over too. In some ways, if we’re out in the car, was thinking that probably the capsule would be used more often, which was the case with my first.

The pod would more be for walks around home and if the pram comes into the house and baby was asleep, I’m wondering if you’d just leave them to sleep in the pram (whereas with the bassinet we had, we’d have unclipped it and taken through the house with us, popped it on the floor.

Hmmmm something to stew on.

Good luck for your new arrival and if you ever remember it, would love to hear how you get on once baby is here :)

I agree with you. With my previous stroller, we used to unclip the bassinet and bring it into the house if bubs was asleep in it. Which you can’t do with the pod. The original reason I had opted for the pod was because they just grow so quickly and I remember I didn’t like how much boot space the bassinet took (and after we were done using it and needed to store it somewhere). It’s got its pros and cons, so just depends on what features are important to you and your lifestyle!

Totally, for a few months of bassinet use.. and years of storage. It's easy to over think buying stuff for new babies, there is too much choice, like your reasonable/rational mind leaves you. Thank you!
