Do the front wheels of the metro turn when you turn the pram or are they static pointing in just forward facing direction? I bought the metro 5 but having a hard time navigating turns with the pram

Hi Rebecca, the METRO5 wheels are 360 swivel. It sounds like they are locked straight. To lock and unlock the front wheels, please follow this video link: external link

Hi. I bought the metro lite and it's just arrived. I know you have sold out of the newborn support but I was wondering if there was a universal one you would recommend that fits as an alternative. I did see in the booklet it has a wedge as well as head support and liner. Is the wedge so it gives a flat surface for a newborn? Would you be willing to email the specs so I can look for an alternative?

Hi, does the Redsbaby Metro come with a shoulder carry strap so you can transport the stroller whilst folded up and holding a toddler?

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Tegan,

Thank you for getting in touch. No, the METRO is too large to carry on your shoulder. The SKIP2 is more suitable for this purpose and comes with a carry strap.

Hi, Our footrest seems to be broken. It won’t click into any of the positions. It moves freely but won’t stay in any position.

Metro3 Pram

Can this be fixed or replaced?

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Fiona, Thank you for reaching out to us. The footrest will move freely when going up to the bumper bar. You don't need to press any buttons to move the footrest from this position up and back. This is also to allow the seat to fold neatly into the frame (for the JIVE) and to also be able to flip the footrest in when folded (for the METRO).

When you want to adjust the footrest downwards (for when the baby's legs need to access the footrest at the front of the pram frame) you need to press both buttons in and push downwards on the footrest. From the lowest position, it will be able to be moved upwards into a semi-reclined position and then back up again into the highest position.

Please note, that the footrest does not move into a position going upwards, only further down.

Please watch this video which shows this in more detail: external link

The best way to replicate the video is to have the seat forward-facing and fully upright.

Hi, has anybody had any luck finding replacement rear tyres for Metro 2017 (original) which has the pump-up tyres? I have found inner tubes that fit, but can’t find rubber tyres anywhere! Redsbaby tell me they don’t stock replacements, and my local bike shops can’t find any tyres that fit! Getting frustrated I can’t find anything, as the pram itself is in great condition.

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Olivia, Our stock of 2017 rear wheels has now sold out and they have been retired from our range. Should you wish to upgrade your 2017 brake and wheels to a newer version, please contact pramfix.com.au to find out more details and pricing for this service.

Alternatively, there is a Redsbaby, Buy, Swap & Sell group on Facebook that is run privately by our customers where you may be able to source a set.

Thanks! I ended up finding some on pramsales.com.au to fit my pram (my Metro 2017 has the same rear wheels as the Jive original, so they are compatible).

Hi Olivia, After a stock take, our warehouse located a small amount of remaining stock which is back on our website :https://www.redsbaby.com.au/shop/spare-parts/pram-rear-wheels-jive-metro-2017. This is the final stock of the 2017 rear wheels that will be available.

Hi there, I ordered METRO³ Pram on Nov. 23. Today I only got the Bassinet Stand, not the METRO³ Pram. I'm wondering how I can track theMETRO³ Pram since I only have one tracking number and this tracking number has been delivered. Have you sent the METRO³ Pram in a different shipment than the Bassinet stand?

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Bahar, Thank you for reaching out, it is common for the parcels to become separated in transit due to the different sizing of the boxes. Generally, they should arrive within a few days of each other. Please reach out to customer care at inf@redsbaby.com. au with your order number so we can take a look at the tracking for you.

Hello,

Does the bassinet fold as well? Looking for a pram for our newborn and we'll be travelling interstate (by plane) when baby is 2 months old - wondering if the Metro3 or Metro3 Lite would be best?

Swetha
Swetha

Metro3 Bassinet doesn’t fold

Kirsty
Kirsty

It comes folded down and you pop it up to make it, but I'm not sure if you do that a few times it would weaken the holds.

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Clara, Thanks for reaching out. The bassinet can be folded as it has a solid baseboard - you can push the pop stand down but this just reduces the height of the bassinet side and isn't deigned to do so on a a daily basis. The METRO Lite might be a good option as it is suitable for newborns with the infant insert and the seat can fold in one.

Just wondering if you can collapse the jive3 when you have the height extenders on the seat mode?

Redsbaby
Redsbaby   DM

Hi Rach, if you have the JIVE set up as a double, you will need to remove the upper adaptors before you fold the seat. I hope this helps.
