I have this question regarding the Rear Differential of the 2014 Korando SX Auto AWD D20DT C200. How to identify the Rear Differential. Is the Rear Differential the same as in the 2011 AWD Korando C200. So to say are they interchangable ?

Yes, about 50klm of fuel left. Time to fuel up. You never want to be that person that run dry in a diesel. Very expensive to get going again.

Hi I'm consider korando EX from 2023. I want to hear opinion about maintenance cost and any issue since you drive. Is it high cost to keep maintenance ? What is your experience since you drive? Is it enough for family car?

A very good car, does everything right, plenty of power and great build quality at a bargain price. We use E10 and have good fuel economy around the city, though not any better on the highway (turbo boosting?) Good room inside for 4 adult passengers, quite a wide car for its length, but has a small boot. Safety warning stuff good if you like it, a bit intrusive if you don't. No regrets, would buy it again.

From Adelaide. It is an ELX since for $2k there are a lot more extras. Ie, like the flappy paddles. The 'sport' mode doesn't seem to do much, so the semi-auto FPs let you keep the revs in the power range for hills etc. It has an e10 sticker on the petrol flap, which is a big saving over UL95, and i still find it gives good city fuel consumption.
Is it high cost for maintenance? How much did you get discount from ssangyong?

No discount, they were coming into the yard and going straight out. Let me add that busy city driving economy is more like 10.8. From memory, servicing costs were middle of the road.
Good day.I have a ssangyong korando 2012 diesel awd 2.0l.After removing diesel pipes from the injectors to repair wire on no 1 injector and then reconnect all pipes.Start the car and idling for about 10 sec and then the car wend dead.Now it doesnt start at all.Battery 100% and air is removed from diesel line but still doesn't start

Have a korando diesel automatic all wheel drive going for service at dealership being charged for clutch oil change in the quote. Surely automatic does not have a clutch or clutch cylinder with oil
You do require a gearbox oil change at 90000km with a new filter. But clutch oil? Sounds like a weird typo or somethings suss.

I had the same issue. The key fob needed a battery change then all good. This actually showed up on the dash.
What klms Koran’s a 2012 deisel timing chain replacement
2012 Korando C started then cut out. Diesel engine. Now starts but only runs for a few seconds. Fuel being pumped out of each injector when loosened so presumably pump delivering sufficient fuel. Would not start at all previous to loosening injectors.
Check the cam position sensor. It is a magnetic (Hall Effect) sensor and will gather fragments of metal out of the oil. Clean of any deposits and it should fix the problem. The sensor may need to be replaced. I bought one here in Australia for $60 AUD
Hi I have a ssangyong korando 2014 the engine check light came on a while now and when I did the scanner they said it has a problem with turbo they didn't specify what and I'm lost help..
It might be related to emissions, which is a common problem on Ssangyongs due to the particles filter. I would buy a OBD scanner to clear up the error and drive it for a while. If the light doesn't go off you might need to replace the particles filter (not cheap)
Check your air filter. A dirty air filter will restrict air flow under medium to heavy acceleration and a sensor will turn your turbo off. Could be any number of other faults but this is an easy thing to check and eliminate. I found out the hard way.
