Hi - is the UV light an actual light - if so mine is faulty - I have no light when I press UV - also speed one is nothing and speed 2 too loud - should I return ? Or is it right ? I bought it yesterday.
Hello Robyn5, Thank you for contacting Sunbeam. The UV light removes up to 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, germs and mould from the air. The UV light ranges from 10 to 400 nanometers which is not detectable to the human eye. The high fan settings does have an audible fan noise, however, it should sound like a soothing hum.
It can sound too loud if the packing plastic hasn't been removed before use, could I ask if the plastic has been removed from the filter?
Thank you, Sunbeam Customer Care
