Hi Geoff, Paint does not get better with age. We suggest to open the tin and check for a couple things first.  When you open the tin have a smell of the paint, if it does not have the sweet paint smell and smells like off food or worse and has green or black floating particles on top then this has likely expired and do not use. If it smells ok then give the paint a good mix by stirring the paint. If the paint has little bits of hard lumps and does not mix in then this could be due to the product inside starting to dry. Do not use this paint if it has lumps.

If the paint is consistent with normal paint and does not smell or have lumps in it, then you would think that this paint would be ok to use.

Taubmans All Weather in low sheen is used for the broadwall areas on the external of your house. For door and trim areas we recommend Taubmans All Weather in Gloss or Taubmans Water Based Enamel in Gloss.

Taubmans Sunproof can be thinned up to 10% with water if required.

Hi Sanjay, Taubmans Sunproof can be applied onto a suitable surface on a roof. Please follow the directions on the tin for preparation and application once you have determined the suitability of the surface you are wanting to apply the Sunproof onto.

Don't recommend it, its very thin. Go for something like dulax or solagaurd

Taubmans All Weather allows masonry, cement render and mortar to cure for 28 days before painting. For all other surfaces, you will need to check on the back of the tin for suitability purposes.

Sanding is only required between coats of Taubmans Sunproof if there are defects that need smoothing out. Follow the can directions for application and preparation process.

General dry times for water-based paints is two hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. For oil-based paints, minimum is 16 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity.

Hi Alice, Taubmans Sunproof can be applied over prepared weathered Colorbond surfaces. If the surface has not weathered effectively, then you will need to give the surface a light sand with 240 - 320 grade sandpaper. Once cleaned, apply 1 coat of White Knight SLS Etch Primer and overcoat with 2 coats of Sunproof in the desired colour.

Taubmans Sunproof is not tested in combination with the various sensitivities of bees. For this reason, we cannot guarantee suitability.

The colour contains yellow, red and brown and uses a white base. Adding more brown may assist in taking towards the direction you like but white bases are only for pastel colours.

We suggest taking the paint back to the store and draw on the experience of the staff instore for ability to colourmatch paint separately.

Your reps are crap. Have no idea about paint and are basically cloths sales people.. I have been painting houses since the early 90s and taubmans paint has been slowly turning to cheap crap, Nobody wants to take responsibility for poor quality paint , paint that just disappears of most surfaces after a couple showers and a month of sunny days is crap.. Another Australian company gone down the [Word Removed]..

Another "Been doing this for x years" Paint is paint, sounds like you have no idea on how to prep a surface. If an 'experienced' trades person is resorting to complaining on a product review site rather than going through trade reps then he's clearly been found in the wrong.
