Can you use this pram for a newborn without the bassinet (I.e in the seat laying flat with an insert)?

The seat deoesnt fold out flat, it is like a z shape so there is a definite bend in the seat where the kid’s bottom goes. I would recommend the bassinet for a newborn to lay out completely flat, but when the baby is bigger (maybe 6 months) you could try getting them to sleep in the pram seat in the laid back (fully reclined) position.

Does the vista v2 lay flat, 180 degrees flat?

The seat can recline back all the way back, but the seat doesn’t open out flat - it stays in a seated configuration. The angle of the footrest can change to put the feet at a more comfortable angle. Hard to describe.. kind of like a sideways zig zag or lightning strike?! I used to have my kid strapped in and seated upright while he was awake, and then reclined him back to sleep. It is comfortable enough to sleep for an hour or two, even though the seat doesn’t go flat.

I've read some reviews that the rumble seat sits very upright in a double child combination, so if they fall asleep they would fall forward. Is this still the case?
Also, does anyone know if an older frame would allow seat reclining actions, if a new rumble seat and it's adaptors was bought for an older frame?

Just purchased this pram after reading great reviews but have stumbled upon quite a number bad reviews when parents start using this as a double stroller due to the issue with uneven weight distribution for front and back seats. I am planning on having 2 kids and anticipate having to use this as a double stroller so would love to hear some feedback.

I'm looking at purchasing either a vista or Cruz but am unsure which would be most suitable. Do the upper adaptors for the vista fit the Cruz? I like the idea of having the seat higher up. Thank you.

I had the same question as well when I was looking at these prams!

The Cruz holds one child and the Vista can hold two. They both can potentially transport an additional child if you buy the piggyback board, which is a skateboard thing that attaches to the pram and they stand on it.

Not sure if the upper adaptors fit onto the Cruz but the frame of the Cruz is lighter than the Vista. So even if you were able to get them on, the Cruz might not be stable enough to support 2 children or have the one child higher, which could be dangerous. The extra weight of the Vista might be needed to keep the pram stable.

Is the nuna KILK plus or the bugaboo Turtle by Nuna compatible with the uppababy vista v2?

And are there any plans on testing them out with the uppababy vista v2?
