Guys - can you respond to this article in the Harvard Medical School Journal please.

How do you ensure you are sourcing protein powder for your products that does not contain what the above article is claiming?

Yo!.... should I assume that no response = no testing and therefore potentially issues?

Hi Perseus, Our protein ingredients are all tested for heavy metal residues, along with bacterium and also antibiotics. This ensures our protein complies, meets and greatly exceeds any FSANZ Food Standards code. Thanks Uprotein

why is there 30$ shipping cost when my total billl is more than 199$, when it says in your site that it will be free shipping?

Uprotein

Hi Migs, thanks for question. Some shipping zones unfortunately do not qualify for free shipping due to the high cost Australia Post charge to send to these regional areas (ie exclusions apply). If you'd like to know more, please visit our website shipping pages or tabs that indicate what postage zones are eligible for free shipping or please email us directly. Thanks Uprotein

Hi, have been using the whey choc protein and enjoying the results. Fantastic product. Had a question about the momentum pre work out. It seems to have all the goods but I was a little concerned about the low dosage of some of the ingredients compared to comparable pre work outs on the market and can't find any reviews. I really want to try it.

Hi Daniel, thanks for question and being a customer. Many pre-workouts, both domestic and imported have ingredient and doses which are either not approved or above the approved limits of the Australia Food Code. Momentum Pre Workout provides a synergistic workout benefit from regulated and approved ingredients and doses in Australia. If you're looking for a strong hit, usually from caffeine, then this product may not be for you.

Hi, i bought the 2kg protein and im loving the flavor of it, the question its a little dumb but how many scoops of powder is 1 serving?, i ask because in the back of the protein says that 2 scoops have 32 g of protein, but with other proteins usually 1 scoop is a serving, thank you very much, im loving the product as of now

If you have the mass gainer, a full serve is 4 scoops. 16 Serves per pack.

I have the whey hydro+enzymes

Thanks Axel. So our serving recommendation is 40 grams, which is approx 2 scoops. Taking 2 scoops will give you approx 32g of protein ( which is approx 81% protein). However other brands may suggest to take 1 scoop, which is fine too. Essentially its up to the individual to decide how much to consume based on many different factors like fitness goals, diet, exercise routine and weight.

Once the 4kg pack is opened, how long can I keep it safely (airtight container) during normal usage? Is it safe to take it over 6 months when I buy such a big bottle as I often go away and may not finish it too quickly.

Dash

Hi Seow, The packet seems pretty air tight. It clicks loudly when I close it. I squeeze as much air out before I close it to keep it as fresh as possible. You could transfer the powder to an air-tight container if you like, but i don't think I'll bother. The website says that 4kg should last 100 days if you use 40g per serve, but I don't know how it will go over 6 months. Maybe ask the people at Uprotein about It's longevity, I'm sure they will have a better idea than me. This is my first ever purchase of a protein powder. Hope this helps. Dash.

Hi Seow. So the 4kg pack comes in 2 x individual 2kg bags and normally have an unopened approx 18 months - 2 year shelf life. See base of the bag for the best before date. You should properly seal the bag or container you are using so it's airtight and never leave the bag open for long periods. You don't want to expose your protein to elements including moisture, oxygen, heat or sunlight as these can accelerate you protein degrading severely. You need to correctly store the protein in a cool, dark place to ensure it stays as fresh as possible.

Having said that, after opening you should try to consume the protein as soon as possible. If a bag contains 50 serves try to consume within 2 months. Ensure its properly sealed and stored and not opened for lengthy periods of time.

As protein powder is dry, its quite stable and we know some customers make their own decisions to keep protein powder for much longer time periods, however you just have to balance freshness and potency with time and storage conditions and this is down to the individual and the environment.

We hope this answers your question.

I train twice a day cardio morning strength evening, if I use this product twice a day will I put on weight?

smolboijourneytogitbig
smolboijourneytogitbig

dude, that's not how consuming protein works you gain weight by being on a caloric surplus and lose weight by being on a caloric deficit simple as that protein is just to make sure when youre bulking you actually gain muscles and when your cutting you don't lose too much of it.

either way, im not a credible source so maybe do your own research somewhere else.
