To be honest, I have had no issues folding the legs. Maybe the top needs to be collapsed first, before collapsing the vertical poles. Next time I put it up, I could give you a definitive answer.

Every time i had to remove the screws holding the elbow joint to the alloy tube. Only had one working properly. You can try to pry the internal locking rod at the top joint with a screwdriver (awkward but possible). I think it jams up at the elbow and the rod won't release. I gave up on the legs and replaced them with supapeg extendable awning poles. So now I don't have to loose my thing packing the tent up. Still like the tent tho!

I have this tent and if you pull the centre down first the legs easily collapse. I find it the best tent! So easy to put upland pack up.

The Black Wolf hinge may fit if that is the issue. BCF have them.

Hello David, the zip up bag is oversize, it is 145x35x35 cms Bag is heavy duty but not waterproof.

Hello Josh, Once you collapse the frame, just flip it so that it is turned upside downturn. Then tie it as it was in the bag before the 1st time you pitched it. A second person is able to make it easier till you master It.

I can have it in the tent bag zipped up in about 4 minutes according to my wife, as she timed me,so she says, the 2nd time I took it down.

Try it at home in the back yard before you go camping next.
