i used an oil base paint of wattle on my decks, the result was very bad the pain had a reaction that looked as if it was peeling off the deck, i went to the paint people how sent me on the wattle, they used an excuse that i applied it incorrectly, i have only painted decks for 35 years and this i never saw before has anyone had this>?
Hi Peter, Not surprising that you got that result. I painted interior walls and after one room coated three times, I gave up. It was patchy and thin and would not cover properly. I could have used a "cheap" paint and got a better finish. I was told the same after the paint shop sent a sample to head office chemist for testing. I would never use it again. I ended up using Taubmans Living Silk and it is marvellous.
