This works great as a humidifier. However it is impossible to remove the tank for emptying without spilling significant amount s of water and leaving carpets soggy. This is an issue even if you try emptying before it gets full.

since receiving it until around November 2025, due to having one of the coldest winters on record and a newborn. Firstly, it is a lovely unit to look at with a fabric finish, slimline fit and was packaged well. We have used the unit two ways, where we initially had it wall mounted and then decided that it wasn’t as effective as we would like so we then placed it on wheels to move around the room. Both ways of using the heater were easy to assemble and all parts were included. The machine itself is a quiet unit, and you can’t hear it working at all, which is a change from the noisier split system we have in the room. The beauty of this heater is that it holds its temperature and the room temperature especially when you are experiencing minus 7 outside. I needed a heater that wouldn’t go into defrost mode, dropping the room temperature and then blowing cold air. The downside to this unit is that it doesn’t blow the warm air at you, rather it blows it towards the ceiling, so if you have it located under a window or wall mounted you lose most of the warm air. It’s also not a heater you would sit in front of if trying to get instantly warm. In saying that, once you set a temperature the machine will maintain that temperature and cut out once the temperature is reached and then automatically kick back in once it drops, making it the perfect heater for a child’s room. The machine itself doesn’t get extremely hot like the old oil heaters, making it that little bit safter for little people. The display panel remains lit up, so if you don’t like light when you are sleeping you needed to cover it, as the digital display shines through the Perspex cover. The control panel however isn’t lit up making it extremely difficult to see and use when the room is dark. The sequence of buttons that need to be pressed to operate the heater and modify setting is also complicated when you are tired or busy. The open window function is right next to the menu button and if you accidently press the open window function, the heater will often switch off overnight, which isn’t ideal when you have a newborn sleeping in the room that you are trying to maintain a consistent heat for. The use of WiFi to control the heater via your smart phone and the app was easy to connect and use. I love the ability to turn the heater on before we get home or double check that it’s been turned off if we have left for the day. Overall, this heater looks great, works really well, and is easy to control via the app. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a bedroom or small space that requires a quiet, efficient heater with smart features.

As a heater, this is a great unit for small to medium-sized rooms with somewhat tighter spaces (given it's a tower heater), especially if you have… Read more
smart devices like Alexa or Google. For a 9-12m2 room, even on the "low" setting where it's only using 1000W of the available 2000W heating, it actually warms the room nicely. We were able to measure the power usage as we have smart plugs with energy monitoring.
What we found great about this convenient little unit was:
- The thermostat function was great for conserving power. When the room reaches the set temperature, the thermostat shuts off the heating element and fan until the ambient temperature drops, then it turns it back on.
- The oscillating feature is handy for spreading the warmth around the room.
- Having a functional remote is very handy, especially on cold mornings when you do not want to climb out of bed to go turn on a heater.
- There is a shut-off timer which increments in 1-hour steps up to 12 hours.
- There is a scheduling function via the app for automatically warming your room on those cold mornings; however, we did not use this function just from a cautionary safety perspective.
- There is wifi (2.4ghz) and Bluetooth for connecting to smart devices. Even though it's a heater and that alone should create some issue with signal strength on wifi, it was still connected in areas of our home that have low signal strength.
- The handle on the top made it easy to move around if we needed to move it to another room or reposition it in the same room to a better spot.
- Pairing it to the app was easy, with Alexa detecting it almost immediately on the network.
- It has a built-in tilt switch so if it's accidentally knocked over, it will shut off.
It does, however, fall short in some areas, mainly the "smart" features, although I'm sure these could be addressed with later firmware and app updates:
- The remote we received with it is a little confusing to use as it's labelled a bit more like a TV remote than a heater remote. The included manual does explain each button though, and while the physical remote and the image in the manual are the same remote, the labels on the buttons on our remote were slightly different to what the image shows in the manual, so if we had not opened the manual, we would not be able to figure out what each button does.
- There is no convenient storage place for the remote. A small compartment on the back to slide the remote in when it's not used would help to store it.
- The temperature steps are in 3-degree increments from 15C to 30C. So for example, you can set the temperature to 21C, 24C, 27C, but not to 22C, 23C, 25C, 26C, and so on.
- The wifi only supports 2.4ghz wifi, not 5ghz or better, so for anyone who only has a 5ghz or better, the wifi function is not going to work.
- The app is the standard type of white-labelled, generic Tuya-built app with limited features, albeit customised for the Ausclimate Tower Header. There are a few language-conversion quirks from the original Tuya app interface, such as the oscillating function on the app is called "shake" instead of "swing", the button to control whether it's running in Low, High, or Fan mode is called "gear", and so on.
- The shut-off timer function only works in 1hour increments, and the app only allows for a maximum of 3 hours (compared to the device that goes up to 12 hours).
- Even though it works with Alexa and Google and uses a Tuya-based app, it does not work with Home Assistant, nor does HA even detect it on the network.
A few other notable things that aren't too much of a problem but just to keep in mind:
- There is an expected smell that comes from it when you first power it up for the first time. However, there is a labelled warning for that over the rear power switch explaining that this is normal. The smell goes away pretty quickly.
- The space around the heater is supposed to be 1m in all directions. Not too great for the tighter spaces or hiding it in a corner.
- The included cord is only about 1.5m in length.
Overall, it passes with flying colours as a room heater, with extra points that it can be controlled via Alexa or Google. But the app, as well as its lack of compatibility with Home Assistant, is where it falls short of getting 5 stars. However, I'm sure with some firmware and app updates, this can be rectified.

20C - We set it on 15C is goes up to 21C and drops down to 14C - Doesn’t maintain room temperature even though the door is always closed. The heater is advertised as a good alternative heater for people suffering with allergies but it drier out the air - Do not recommend this heater.

Honestly a bit disappointed. I had their heater in winter and had high hopes for the AC. I have it in my small closed bedroom with everything shut and it struggles to get things to 23° overnight on high.
I have two of these heaters, they are quiet and very effective. The remote app is very handy, and easy to use, especially when setting a timer.
It works well even on a low speed, does not generate a lot of noise even at high speed! I am very happy the with this item overall! If I could change… Read more
one thing it would be that the oscillation you could choose side to side or up and down not having to have them both at the same time. ... and maybe it could taller, it looks a little dwarfed beside my TV stand ;0

Love this gauge so easy to read especially the moister percentage in the air, as you notice the amount of moister dropped when used in the same room as the Ausclimate model ACD112 dehumidifier

removed any mention of phone contact numbers, eventually got a number from Instagram. On ringing they found all my website messages which they they said they had but hadn’t responded to. Basically told I had to get a repairer to look at machine and they were the only ones who could unscrew the back to see what the problem was. They wouldn’t give me the name of any repairers. They also then mentioned that they don’t have any stock of spare parts because these units don’t break (which this one has). The only parts they have are external parts. They then suggested if they are properly maintained they don’t break down. Seriously WTH! No idea
So from what I can figure there is no point in taking it to a repairer if it is out of warranty because they wouldn’t be able to fix it anyway!
So in summary, great product, crap service if it goes wrong so suggest don’t buy it direct. When we purchased originally it was obviously a great company who had pride in their product and who were extremely helpful. Now it has been scooped up by a large company and they pretty much couldn’t care less.
It’s a great little heater. Perfect for smaller room or office.

and the air output is sensational. We have used it every single day since it arrived and honestly couldn’t live without it now. We are even thinking of buying a 2nd one. The battery life is great,it look really stylish and the remote is magnetic and sticks to the back so you always know where it is. I really have nothing negative to say,it’s well worth the price. It’s easy to move around being cordless but you can also use it plugged in while charging so it’s never out of action. Would highly recommend, every household needs one! Oh and it even has a nightlight!
Not even get 2 full months out of it. Purchased in May, 2026. Last night crackling noises and smoke and that was it. The heater didn't last even a whole North Coast winter....
