Probably one of the worst vaccums ever tbh, this is my 2nd one as the first was replaced due to it shocking everyone that used it this second one just spits everything out that it sucks up and has done since its second use. Would not reccomend.

Black+Decker DVJ320J as there was not much choice to buy any other dust buster. First issue was with the brush for tiled or wooden flooring. It comes off too easily when it just taps any piece of furniture. Then you have to put the brush back on the right way, you cant put it on the wrong way. Next it does NOT come with a bracket to charge. No, some "bright spark" decided that this model cannot have a bracket, hence it must sit on my washing machine or on the window sill! Emptying out is another issue, compared to my last dust buster, again this "bright spark" decided that it must be a complicated event, where one has to work out the jig saw to fit the pieces in exactly.
Works well – So it works brilliantly but the battery life could be a bit better.
no offense, but you can hold the nozzle RIGHT UP to dust and debris and it just pushes it around ... doesn't actually suck it up. I reckon even a… Read more
feather is safe from this turkey!
I just presumed they had made something better than those old 'shovel-shaped' dustbusters from back in the day but if anything these are worse. they look great but they are incredibly loud and just don't have any sufficient suction ... do not mistake it as being in competition with a dyson-type handheld it is honestly a waste of money.

again - the chain had come adrift and needed work. I was only able to get a new one from England! Need a 'reserve in case'! It does exactly what it says and is so easy to use and far better than a regular chainsaw for those already cut branches which would 'wave / bounce around' with a regular saw.

Rubbish – How can this rate so highly, mine must ne broken and takes several passes to cut grass to length, am throwing it away.
Not good – This stick vacuum never worked well, the sucking power is so weak. It was cheap but still if it does struggle with bread crumbs is wasted money. … Read more
After one year the battery started to last much less than the 11 minutes stated on the box. Now, after about two years the battery won't last more than 30 seconds making any attempt of cleaning quite difficult and frustrating. The vacuum has been treated well as instructions given in the booklet and used only for light use on wooden floorboards. The battery is not replaceable so it is a disposable vacuum (as acknowledged by the customer support that told me to chuck it in the bin and buy a new one) that will contribute to increase the Australian landfill even more. Black+Decker refused to help being the warranty expired by one week.
Update 12/09/22: after further communication with the company they kindly agreed to replace the faulty unit with a new one, so well done Black+Decker, 4 stars to them.

Not so good, battery at first was not to bad for lasting the duration on low setting doing a whole 4 bedroom house but now it doesn't make on a full charge any more after having it a couple months and it takes a couple hrs to charge. But does the job and good picking up dog hair. Empting is easy too.

The floor dries very quickly, and then it feels like there is a layer of air between my shoes and the floor! Dirt disappears! The product is fast to use, and the attachable cloth is easy to clean. It is amazing! No wonder wise people buy reputable brands.

Hubby and I bought this little steam mop from Big W in July 2025. We have used it weekly for 3 months and are using it on tiled floors exclusively. … Read more
THE PROS:
- It steam cleans nicely once it gets going.
- Its light and easy to use.
- It heats up quickly and you get surprisingly far with just the small tank of water.
- The cloth pad part is a very decent size and is easily machine washed. I like that it comes clean quickly and easily just hand washing too though, so I can keep going to new areas with a new clean pad, without the need to buy more mop heads.
- The cord is very useably long. I really appreciated this. You can reach almost everywhere before needing to refill the machine or move to another power point because the cord is so long.
- I like the hook on the back to hold the cord, excess as I'm going around can be looped so its not a trip hazard paired with wet floors.
- Comes standard with extra attachments for smaller areas or thigns that require a brush to clean.
- Being so slender its only a small area taken up in the broom cupboard when not in use.
- Reasonably priced and easily sourced from Big W
- Does a very decent job at actually cleaning the floor. It doesn't just smear the dirt and oil and grime around the floor. It does actually remove it and leave the floor shiny and smoothe once dry.
CONS:
- Hard to refill in confined spaces because the main water holding part does not come away from the frame. If you have short nozzle taps or small rooms this could be difficult to refill to get it in close enough to the tap but also account for its length. A small jug should've come with it for the refilling purposes but didn't.
- Seems cheap but what do you really expect for $80? It's plastic and flimsy and will definitely not last decades, but for a cheapy fast way to clean your floors this is a winner.
- I wish it had more steam ports. From what I can see, there is only the one in the centre of the pad. I wish i had at least 4 across the length of the pad to evenly distribute the heat, steam and water to wash the floor.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- I'd like a larger water tank for larger spaces. So you can keep going without having to stop and refill every few metres.
- An alarm to beep to warn when you're about to run out of water would be super helpful. There were several times where I forgot to check how much water was in the tank and it was just about all gone.
- Following this- a light to show you when you can safely turn on the steam function would also be super helpful. How soon is too soon? They say to wait 20 seconds but unless you get your phone or a timer out, who is actually going to be exact with that? A light that turns green when the device is ready to steam and mop would be great.
Overall, if you're after a cheap and easy to use device to get your floors cleaned this will do the job. But don't expect Bissell quality in device or cleaning functions. She's just a basic machine that does a basic job, but for those on a tight budget it does what it needs to do. It cleans floors and it does it well for a cheapy. I probably would buy again if I just needed a quick and easy steam mop. If you want something that provides industrial grade cleaning or machine build quality- this isn't the one for you.
Great for general household jobs – (This is not be confused with BLACK+DECKER 400 V Scorpion Electric Saw) I was looking for a tool that I would be able to cut up a small amount… Read more
previously trimmed branches that had been lying around for well over a year as well as being able to use to trim new branches as the need arose. The ability to be able to use the tool around the house for other jobs would be a bonus. I was looking for some kind of multi-tool. Reciprocating saws looked a bit limited (like jigsaws), Oscillating tools seemed like they were for small DYI jobs or hobbies (also seemed a bit limited) and a small chainsaw just looked like too much hard work (chain tightening/sharpening and 2 stroke fuel etc). So when I came upon (by chance on Amazon) the Black & Decker 500W Scorpion Powered Hand Saw, I was intrigued to say the least. It looked like a powered hand saw (as the name suggested), but with 2 different types of cutting blades and the ability to also be a jigsaw. The “powered” part of the product’s name referred to the fact that is powered by a cord (mains/240V) as opposed to cordless. I’m enough of a Luddite for this not to worry me, as I’m more worried/paranoid about not having enough charge to finish a job or not having the tool charged for when I want to use it. So I clicked the purchase button on the big A, and it was literally delivered the next day. From opening the box to using it for my first job (cutting out a template on 2 hollow doors for some cat doors) was only a matter of minutes. Inserting the correct blade (jigsaw), I was done in moments and ready to clean up. It was really easy to use as the jigsaw blade was considerably thicker than previous jigsaws I’ve used and it cut through the hollow doors like a hot knife through butter. So the next text I pit it through was the cutting up of all those old trimmed branches and off cuts etc. I swapped blades (which is so simple to do when all you have to do is press a simple “release” button as opposed to using hex keys etc like on jigsaws) and started. I really put this little tool to the test here. Softwoods, hardwoods thick and thin. It wasn’t quite as good as I was hoping for and it took me while to figure how to use the branch steady function effectively (It’s easier when the branch is still attached to the tree). It did manage to get through every thickness I gave it, but the limitations of 500W were noticeable compared to previous of using a circular saw, but that’s the trade off you get get for a far more portable (lighter) tool. It was still hands down better than having to saw any of this manually. Compared to a tool that would be more suited/dedicated to branch trimming/cutting, it didn’t quite meet my expectations, but for a tool that can do this, as well as being a very good jigsaw, I think that the Scorpion is a great tool for general household jobs. It can be used to cut wood, metal and PVC and there is a selector you use depending on what you are using it for. The price (RRP $99, but I only paid $89) and free shipping certainly make this a compelling tool to have, but remember that it is a multi tool and as such, might be a bit limited for some peoples’ needs. As a jigsaw, I’d give it a 5/5 and as trimmer/cutter I’d give it 3/5 (remembering that I was probably going beyond it’s realistic expectations here). The ability to cut PVC wasn’t tested, but I can’t see how this tool would struggle with this task. Would I recommend it….yes, as long as you are aware that it might be a bit limited, but want a tool that seems to manage jigsawing very well and some cutting.

a stud on the wall and it slipped out of my hand, dropping about three feet, onto a thick rug with carpet underneath (essentially landing on a pillow). Now the laser level doesn't work. The product barely made a noise as it bounced on the carpet but it was enough for it to break and is now no longer in use. Opened it up to see if I could fix it but springs and bits came flying out. This product is not well designed at all. I won't be buying black and decker in the future. Don't bother with this product and be wary of anything they sell that seems flimsy.
Waste of money – My machine has never been able to spray out any water, so unable to use it at all, so pretty useless really considering it is a window washing device, and it leaks.

purchased a more expense unit which works perfectly. Was doing a clean out and found the receipt. Apparently there’s a 2 year warranty on B&D products. this is not covered by warranty, the manufacturer tells me.
It would have costs just a dollar or so to include a rust-prevention paint layer on this tool, but instead they simply sprayed a thin coat of paint on the bare steel, with totally predictable results.

secondary saw for light use. It is junk, absolute rubbish. It is so under powered it simply will not cut. It failed on pine 90 x 45mm. It just stops immediately with insufficient power to chew through. It failed on treated pine decking 90 x 19mm. To be fair it would get about half way through before stopping, but stop it did. I hadn't thrown a discuss since school days, but this saw travelled through the air beautifully, my PB for sure. I would give zero stars if I could.

Around mid December 2022, battery was faulty and not charged. I lodged the faulty product to the service centre(De Rossi @ Lidcombe) of Black and Decker on 3rd January 2023 (Job # S257234). Early Feb 2023, I received a replacement product from Black and Decker.
- Early May 2023, the main unit (stick vacuum cleaner) was faulty and couldn't turn it on. On 09 May 2023, I lodged the faulty product to the service centre(De Rossi @ Lidcombe) of Black and Decker again (Job # S258954). I received the replacement product from Black and Decker around mid June 2023. - On 03/09/2023, I had the 3rd problem with the vacuum cleaner. The main unit (stick vacuum cleaner) was faulty and couldn't turn it on again. So I called Catch and this time requested for the full refund. I was told by Catch that they would need to check with Black and Decker and let me know updates.
As you can see, the above mentioned three problems happened just in 1 year....
I purchased a spare battery from Amazon and wasted the money as a result...

confusing. Nothing about tool in the description or on the box, so the buyer doesn't know what's included and what's not! Has only one tool - for crevices, no brush or anything else.
