the lowest setting is cool but the next one up is hot! Now my hair is breaking off and frizzy from being burnt!...from the medium setting.
Remington Aero
Effortless, the air is just right didn't damaged my hair at all, the handle is easy to grip it was really nice having it.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do – Heats up fast and maintains the temp. In the past I always used GHD’s and they used to iron my hair so flat it would leave it looking greasy and… Read more
lifeless. The Remington straightens without starving your hair of any body or moisture. It is comfortable to use and seamlessly glides through your hair. I use it for straightening and curling and both are quick and effortless to do. Overall I’m very impressed.

the bottom 2 heat settings. Setting 1 did not warm up at all.Setting 2 was cool enough to touch with your bare hands. Setting 3 was so hot I could smell my hair burning. I took it back to Target asking for an exchange,as sometimes you just end up with a lemon.I was told that because I had bought it on sale, there was no exchange only a refund and I would have to purchase a new one at full price. Not impressed with Target!!! I have purchased another brush and we will see how long this lasts. Keeping my fingers crossed.

in 2023 from BigW. On opening the box, I noticed that they are much lighter than traditional clippers. This is because they are primarily plastic construction with a cheap rotating motor and offset spindle to move the blades.
On first use I noticed the motor slowing considerably when applied to short hair. The motor often took a long time to get up to speed.
With less than 10 uses, the clippers have now stopped altogether. Remington weren't much interested, saying that they would pass my feedback on; sorry, that's it. So I dismantled the unit to have a look. Hair from the blades can go straight into the drive mechanism, where it is caught by the lubricant and promptly gums up the works. But even after carefully removing all hair, the motor is very slow and stops if you even breathe on it. This is not a product which is well designed or intended to last any length of time. I reckon you would be lucky for it to last out the warranty.

I bought this hair dryer to go in my suitcase for a trip I was taking. It has a folding handle, so it's compact and easy to pack. Even though it's a travel hair dryer it's powerful, so I'm happy it does everything my home hairdryer does.

great in the hand and blows so much more air with far better control. I must say I have no idea what I was waiting for there is no comparison of having a full sized salon dryer again. I enjoy using it every morning - its great
Solid product, good value – Bought this off Amazon and as it was only $12 thought it would be flimsy, it’s not and it is solid and great value for money. Just chuck in the battery’s and use straight away.
Probably 3 stars on the device, but bumped to a 4 star due to bang for buck value. I'm a long time electric razor user. It wasn't until my Remington… Read more
RS8503 3 foil shaver finally gave up the ghost after 35+ yrs of semi regular use, that I was forced to buy another shaver. The old shaver was a reliable thing, 3 close shaving foils, a pop up full width trimmer, perfect in the hand fit, the head shape reasonably svelte allowing even some foil based edge marking and trimming along the goatee line. The new razor had a lot to live up to.
I ended up buying the Remington F7 Style, 3 foil shaver, largely because it was a Remington, looked to have most of my old shaver's features and because it was at a decent price (have you seen the price of some shavers on offer these days?).
The pros - It does the expected job, surprisingly no better than my old shaver so it's not like the foils and cutters have improved over the years, but the shave is acceptably close. The foils are flexible. If the stubble isn't long, it powers through a reliable shave in quick time. It is somewhat of a different fit in the hand due to the long "handle" but the back of the handle is rubberised, so with a small grip adjustment it stays reasonably well positioned. It has a pop up trimmer. It has a stubble trimmer attachment that fits over the foils (not keen to give that a go though). It is cordless. Price point was excellent. The LED battery level indicator is clear and it seems that the battery will deliver the advertised 80mins of shaving per charge - at least while the battery is fresh.
The cons - it has an "intercept trimmer" between the first and second foils which is completely useless and means that the shaving head is "fatter" than 3 foils. If this had been relocated to one side like on my old shaver, it would have been a perfectly capable and usable trimmer. The pop up trimmer is about 25mm wide and in a difficult location to use effectively. It is cordless which means that at some point the battery capacity will fade (planned obsolescence?) The sides of the shaver aren't rubberised (like the old shaver) so can be harder to grip. The shaving head is much wider at the base than at the foils which obscures the vision slightly making it somewhat harder to judge when using a foil for edging the goatee line.
Not perfect but functional and adequate.
Maybe I should have splashed out for one of those more expensive shavers?!
Ok, blunt it is. Overall: as useless as udders on a bull. I use it infrequently, usually while traveling, which is why I allowed 12 months before… Read more
writing this review. It performs so poorly that, even then, I end up visiting a barber. The foil shaving attachment performs just as poorly—if not worse. There's no power, no cutting, and it even seizes on my stubble.
Before I even used it, I noticed the slide-on comb had a tooth missing, so that was that. The nose hair trimmer seems adequate, but I've only used it once or twice, so I can't say much about it.
I sometimes wonder if it actually cuts at all. It seems to lack the power to do anything other than buzz. I held onto it for about twelve months because I like to give products a fair go, but now it's found its way into my electronics recycle bin.
I know it's relatively cheap to buy, but if you end up needing to replace it with another brand, it becomes expensive in the long run. Cheap doesn't have to mean poor quality—I used to have a Woolworths off-the-shelf cheapie, and it performed great. Sure, it went through batteries like they were going out of fashion, so I opted for this rechargeable unit.
I bought it on Amazon at full price ($29) and assumed it would be okay—but it wasn't. Do yourself a favor: do NOT buy this. At best, it's useless.

three settings of air flow were not good either. It blew cold air on cold and medium setting and hardly warm air on the third strongest setting. It didnt dry my hair at all. The diffuser that came with it is very small and cheep as well. My hair were not soft after drying, so I think that the shea oil is a marketing plot. I dont recommend this product.

Norman to use. Has some great features and does do a good job. Nice close shave. The only problem is it gives me horrible razor rash. Never once had razor rash from the Pitbull skull shaver and I used to dry shave with it sometimes. I've tried multiple shaving creams and after shave balms etc and no difference. My head just doesn't agree with the Remington shaving foils. So I still give it 3 stars because it does do a good job but personally just doesn't do it for me.

it sleek and shiny without any frizz or damage. Curling was a bit more challenging at first, but with a little practice and watching the styling video, I was able to achieve beautiful waves. The key was to ensure that I wrapped the hair around the barrel using the glove evenly and held it in place for a few seconds. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to create a variety of curls. I was very impressed with the Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler. It's a high-quality tool that is easy to use and delivers excellent results. While it may take a little practice to master curling, the versatility and performance of this styler make it well worth the effort. If you're looking for a versatile styling tool that can help you create a variety of looks, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

perform open heart surgery...LOL. It says it's Virtually Indestructible. Quite apparently the test team didn't give one to an eight year-old to try out! It's 2023, and yet they can't make a shaver that can cut effectively without the razor burn. I'm 75 now and this is the first time I've had razor burn. The cutting blades are not up to the job. Either poor quality steel, or poor design; take your pick. Plus, the speed of the blades is too slow, IMO. One has to go over the various sections a half dozen times (at least) to get an acceptable finish. The top lip can't be done well at all, & I don't have a heavy beard. Very disappointing over-all. Now get this, I bought and el-cheapo of eBay. A four inch long, cylindrical job, for $7. It's a single blade/cutter. It cuts way better than the Remington. I'm glad I got it on special at Big W for $63, but I'll be going back to shaving with a blade and oil. A sincerely regrettable purchase.

shower or with shaving gel / cream and that there is a turbo button which gives extra power when needed. It didn't irritate the skin when shaving but I did apply after shave balm when I was finished. The x7 Limitless gives as close a shave as you could get without using a razor blade with the safety benefit of not being able to cut yourself. Highly recommended especially for people who don't have a steady enough hand to use a razor for one reason or another. It's also quite clean as all the trimmed hairs go in to the machine and you just empty it when done so you don't have clippings flinging all over the bathroom.
It's does the job – This is the second Remington hair straightener I have purchased, the first one lasted me 11 years and I loved it, this one is lighter, and I feel it does the job but not quite as well as my old one, still very good price at 89 dollars,

still going strong. Since my initial purchase, I bought replacement blades, each blade set lasts around 12 months. Replacement blades are readily available.
The shaver works very well, always does a great job and is easy to use. I use it every day and it has not stopped working once. Many people compliment me on how well my head is shaved.
If it did stop working, I would buy another one. It is great value.
Long lasting – This was a gift in 2009 and has lasted 11 years. It has worked well on my fine medium length hair. Only negative is the black matt coating got quite shabby and felt tacky towards the end.
Not good – Disappointed with this curler. But i cant complain too much with this price. I used it for two days and dont use it anymore. The hot ironing part may have a cheap metal? I wasted my money

MThs and I am down to less than 1 week. I understood you were going to get a status of of the battery life but no, it works then stops. I think as a product the shavers with a popup trimmer are better. With the remington the trimmer is seperate. Also the carry case when travelling, when you would use the travel case is far too big to be practical. and like I say the shave itself is just ordinary for what I believe is a premium product.

4 attachments which is great. They are easy to change & sit secure compared to some others.
I will start with my negative first because I find the handle uncomfortable as quite big compared to what I am used to, and I struggle to hold it in my hand properly it is quite uncomfortable and not easy to get a good grip on.
As for it drying my hair it does a great job with the concentrator. The flyaway tamer is a great addition I have never seen before as an attachment and works too.
My hair is slightly wavy so I get the best of both worlds with the diffuser as can use it to make by waves more defined and into a curl and with the concentrator can do a straight style easily.
