Best cough suppressant out there – After trying everything on the pharmacy shelf, this was quite literally the only thing that worked in terms of giving me some short-term relief. This… Read more

Pretty good at first – My nails never grow. I have my hands in water all the time. Layers of my nails peel and flake and they are very weak. I asked a women in the chemist… Read more

“How come your nails look so nice?” She told me she was using this product. My nails have started to look a lot healthier and feel stronger. I have been only using a natural/breathable nail polish when I colour them which has also helped - without a lot of the nasties of normal polishes. I am going to keep using this product and see what the longer term results are. Even though I am pretty much vegetarian and eat a healthy diet (normally), my hands are my ‘tools of my trade’ and they are put to some rough work constantly. Whether this supplement can counteract that we will see.

I only take a half tablet every day as I became hyperactive after taking a full tablet. I am now aware there is a class action against Blackmores because of the high level of pyridoxine ( vitamin B6 ) that can prove toxic over time...

What proof is there that this simple vitamin mix combats macular Degeneration? It costs a plenty and the target market are largely desperate… Read more

pensioners. My view based on years watching my mother’s sad decline, Macuvision is utterly useless. My mother lived in hope consuming MV for a decade+ while being treated by specialists (including Eylea injections). Simple outcome she went blind. Profiting from people’s desperation needs to have consequences. No company should be able to name a vitamin supplement referring to a specific condition without published clinical trials clearly demonstrating its effectiveness.

45minutes! Began taking other herbal supplements containing black cohosh with no noticeable effect after 2 months. I had taken Vitex in my 40s to reduce migraines so started again with just one tablet in the morning with breakfast and WOW reduced hot flashes and night sweats to the point where I'm not sure I'm even having them anymore. I dont want to tempt fate and declare myself cured but will say definately working for me.

Do not buy blackmores multivit for women – This review is for blackmores multivitamins for women. This product is potentially poison. Made me severely bloated and nauseous with right eye… Read more

twitching constantly. Even led to poor concentration, brain fog and fatigue till the time i kept consuming it. Felt better only after I stopped taking these. All those positive reviews for these multivitamins on any of the websites are possibly fake. This product needs to be discontinued asap before it makes more people suffer.

these, otherwise you end up like me with acute hypervitaminosis A. It was bizarre like my conscious state was impaired. I wasn't driving well, which I pride myself on. I couldn't concentrate properly and my vision wasn't good. I started to dark out the rooms during the day. I have stopped taking them and things have returned to normal. I may take one occasionally now but not too many. Sustained release. Very effective and appropriate vitamins. Calmer mood throughout day. Irritability and scattered brain. Lack of concentration.

few days I developed a very severe headache and constant nausea. I will never purchase any Blackmores products again. We take vitamins believing that they will benefit our health yet they are making us sick. We are constantly being lied to and mislead by manufacturers. Why aren't they forced to include the ingredients on the label?

decided to try them again.

There was a 6 week "kick-in" period, but it is now working well.

Initially I took 2 tablets with meals, but am down to 1 [3 per day].

The trick is do not stop taking these as your symptoms will return.

Obviously check with your doctor before beginning medication.

They are "Professional" which means you can only buy them from a naturopathy practice or a pharmacy which has an on-staff naturopath.

usualy easy available in most of the supermarket and chemist. I've taken it daily for a long term as I heard of that taking this is good for improving eye sight. I end up benefit from it more than I originally expected for a better calcium absorbtion and health immune system. Cod liver oil is a good resource of Vitamins A and D and omega-3 acids. This Blackmores Cod liver oil has a good quality price ratio. There is nothing I can think of.

Be careful about B6 toxicity and muscle twitches (fasciculations) etc – I take a full supplement regime to do a number of things, including not being malnourished while dieting. And also sleep. Hence the B Complex - a way… Read more

to get adequate vitamin B levels, including B6, which I was taking as it is supposed to assist with getting to sleep. I was taking B6 on its own in addition to this, and then just took the Mega B Complex.

I didn't realize that the RDA is 1.7mg and the amount typically provided in these is around 50mg. In B6 specifically, and in the B Complex. So it's more than 10x the recommended dose.

I noted that I was gradually getting increased twitches in my triceps and sometimes pectoral muscles. To the point where it was keeping me awake at night. I went to the doctor about it. It was only using an AI chatbot that I was able to diagnose the problem. Evidently the B6 can be excessive in amounts greater than 1g per day, and likely lower than that. A maximum of 12mg per day is allowed in the EU.

https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/b-6-vitamin-danger/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK554500/ https://www.easy-immune-health.com/vitamin-b6-toxicity.html

Symptoms over B6 toxicity generally resolve over time, but in some cases there can be permanent problems.

I stopped the supplementation of this about a month ago and gradually the fasciculations (involuntary twitching) in my triceps has ceased completely.

While I am writing this vs a Blackmores product, B6 is in a lot of products, including for sleep, and it is something that for susceptible people is a problem.

Some people are able to take less than 1000mg with no problems, but some (perhaps with the MTHR gene) are not able to. Perhaps for many people this product is ok, but not for me. That's why I've given it 3 stars - for me it is 1 star, but it likely has the correct dosages on the label, just that people should be careful about consuming, and it won't be immediate, it likely takes some time to accumulate toxic effects.

Ok, I've done my bit of public service on the subject of Vitamin B6 toxicity.

Blackmores super magnesium – I purchased this supplement as l was told by my podiatrist that it is good for the prevention of cramps, however, even after using this product for a month, l am still prone to getting leg cramps, so in my opinion this product does not work

beautifully clean, clear but slightly dehydrated. Since taking it, it’s been 6 weeks now, my skin hasn’t stopped breaking out. I first started with a patch of little white heads on one side of my face close to the lips, then it spreads across my entire left side of my face and forehead, then more appeared on the jawline. On Blackmores’ website says there will be a 6 weeks purging, but I haven’t seen any signs of improvement but much worse. Not only did it make my skin even dryer than before, I notice my lips are irritated too. I’d get super chapped lips and outline of my lips would be swollen as if there are cold sores all over it. I also noticed I started to get ulcers all around my mouth, no matter what I do, it wouldn’t go away. Or it’ll go away a little, then quickly become inflamed again.
