impressed every time. The staff are enthusiastic and supportive, and as far as I can tell the lesson content is engaging and educational. She was proud to show me her game she programmed which is a rare treat because she's usually tight lipped about her day. everything is always well organised from head office through to the classroom. Last time we had an issue in the playground, and I spoke to the lead manager and she handled it with a lot of care, it’s comforting to have primary school teachers leading the events. We’ll definitely be back! Extended care is great option for working parents and reasonably priced

really liked is the structured approach and the way the tutor adapts to our child’s learning pace. The sessions are engaging, and we’ve already started noticing small improvements in his confidence. The flexibility of online learning also makes it convenient to manage alongside school.
Overall, it’s been a helpful support alongside school learning, and we’re hopeful to see continued progress over time.Cluey has been a great platform for my son and he looks forward to his sessions every week.

Kumon and thought okay it would be a boost to her learning since i am so busy most of the time. I also watched the videos and what i thought is that they would make her sit and so some kind of practice and also send workbooks home for additional homework.
So I sent an enquiry and they asked me to bring her for placement test, and she said she needs to practice a lot, she's a lot behind other students, and handed her worksheets. I tried asking her questions about how does this work etc, and she just handed me a form to fill, I filled it with the hopes that she would finally answer my questions, and all she did was gave me some workbooks to make my little one fill at home.
I was left feeling confused and thought to myself to give it a week, so i sat with her, and submitted the workbooks, she took her in for like 2 mins and gave me another workbook, and this went on for 2-3 sessions. She was barely made to sit in the centre. In-fact we were even scolded for doing home work at the centre(where parents sit). And i have no idea why she kept asking me to hold her hand to write the numbers, She can write numbers on her own, its just that the orientation is confusing for her.
Anyways after a week or so when we went to submit the workbook she demanded 260$ (100$ for enrolment and 160$ monthly fees), the 100$ enrollment fees was also not communicated by her BTW, by then i already made the decision to quit Kumon if all i had to do is pay 160$/month/per subject for repeated workbooks which i could have downloaded off the internet for free. So i refused to pay the enrollment fee, i would have paid the 160$ and left after a month.
I am so dissatisfied with Kumon, i would give it a zero stars if i could.

daughter’s confidence, study habits, and overall attitude toward learning. Her tutor is patient, knowledgeable, and truly understands how to break down difficult concepts in a way that actually makes sense.
What really impressed us was the personalised approach—they didn’t just teach the subject; they taught her how to learn. The communication with parents is outstanding, and the feedback after each session keeps us completely in the loop.
For the first time ever, our daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions. We couldn’t be happier with her progress and the support we’ve received. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality, reliable tutoring that genuinely delivers results.

While spending the morning there my husband and I noticed how warm and friendly the staff were and watched how they interacted with the children in such a dedicated and caring manner. The facility was well-organised and filled with a variety of learning and playing materials. We loved the structure of the facility as it catered for indoor and outdoor activities with a balance of creativity, fun and social skills. It was a joy to watch Our little grandson participate in all the events that were organised for the day and to watch him grow and learn. What stood out the most was the way the teachers engaged with each child individually. They noticed the little things- wether it was an exciting moment or a moment when the child needed reassurance and we watched them interact with genuine care. Kidzville Early Learning Center has given our family peace of mind, knowing our grandson is cared for and provided with a balance of gentle guidance and encouragement that is helping him grow and learn.

experience was a nightmare. Behind the slick marketing is a toxic system that cares more about protecting its reputation and profits than the well-being of children or families.
The staff turnover was relentless. My child was passed from one educator to another with zero continuity. This constant upheaval damages children’s emotional security and shows a shocking lack of respect for families.
Communication? Non-existent or full of evasive, meaningless statements. When serious concerns were raised, the response was corporate spin and deflection not honesty or accountability. They act like they’re running a cartel, not caring for vulnerable kids.
The centre was clearly understaffed, especially during crucial times like outdoor play and room changes. I saw first hand how this compromised safety. Bathrooms and play areas were dirty and neglected basic standards not met.
Affinity Education’s so-called “policies” on inclusion and care are nothing but empty words. What I experienced was a culture of avoidance, denial, and dumping the burden of fighting for your child’s rights on exhausted parents.
If you value your child’s safety and emotional wellbeing, stay far away. Affinity will let you down again and again and then try to sweep it under the rug.

unpleasant. But most of all, when we cancelled after a year and thousands of dollars in fees, they KEPT OUR MONEY under cover of “terms and conditions”. Buyer beware.
We engaged them for our daughter for the 2025 school year. Across three children we’ve had hundreds of hours of tutoring with multiple providers. We know what good tutoring looks like. This was not it.
1. Poor quality tutoring Sessions were largely tutor-led monologues with minimal opportunity for engagement. In English, the tutor set weekly creative writing tasks but provided little meaningful feedback, despite our repeated request that our daughter be taught how to analyse texts using literary devices — her key weakness. In maths, there was plenty of chatting but little structured teaching, and algebra (our main concern) was never properly addressed. Our daughter ultimately told us she was not learning. That defeats the entire purpose.
2. No proper lesson feedback to parents Every other tutoring service we’ve used provides brief written feedback after each lesson — what was covered, gaps identified, and next steps. Tutoring for Excellence refuses to make this part of the service. When we pushed, we were told they had “been in business 30 years” and were not changing. Feedback was eventually provided, but at the expense of lesson time — and it amounted to little more than copied curriculum content with no qualitative insight. For a premium hourly rate, this is unacceptable.
3. Rigid cancellation rules You must hold prepaid credit at all times and are automatically charged in 6-hour blocks. Cancellation only becomes effective once all credit is used at a minimum of one hour per week. In plain English: once they have your money, you’re taking lessons whether you want them or not. No meaningful flexibility for illness or holidays. Zero discretion.
4. Aggressive, clause-driven communication All correspondence is framed around sub-clauses of their terms. No commercial judgement. No relationship focus. Just “as per clause 2.4”. The sales process presents one impression; the operational reality is rigid and robotic.
5. The clincher — they kept unused credit At the end of a full year — having paid thousands — we decided before the new school year not to continue. Due to timing, they had auto-charged another 6 hours. We had 5 unused hours ($475) on file. We requested a refund.
They refused.
After significant pushback, they offered to retain $210 as an “administration fee” for services never delivered. After further pressure, they reduced that to $142 as a “goodwill gesture”. There was no goodwill in it. We were long-standing, reliable clients. They chose to end the relationship by keeping part of our unused money.
Retaining hundreds of dollars for services not provided is a break fee in everything but name. It may sit inside their terms, but it is not fair and not customer-centric.
If you are comfortable prepaying in blocks, being locked into rigid cancellation mechanics, receiving limited feedback, and potentially forfeiting unused credit, proceed.
If not, there are many tutoring providers who are flexible, communicative and commercially reasonable.
We strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

When we visited the centre with our child, another small child was crawling behind me and I did not see the child and nearly stepped on it, only my partner alerted me/stopped me at the time. We were a bit surprised that nobody was looking out for that child. We also felt like there were quite a few children crying or being left alone unhappy and staff didn't seem to respond.

following fortnight was due at the end of the month. The staff member advised that the funds would not be taken out, and the membership would be cancelled. This wasn't true, the account was debited again at the end of the month. The Caloundra pool were advised via their web site and a refund was requested. No response received - and no refund given. Today, they have tried to take out another payment, and as the money wasn't put in to cover this as it was cancelled, a $10 bank fee was charged. Rackley's do not have a number for Head Office and no contact details. The Sunshine Coast contact ([Name Removed]) could not/or would not refund my money, and refers you to their web site for complaints. The enquiry form on the web site is computerised with no personal contact possible and generic responses.
BE AWARE that this could happen to you if you cancel a contract and are within your rights to cancel. Pensioners in particular be aware - they will keep taking money from your account! As if life isn't hard enough already!

disability. They don’t want to have to deal with them. I have previously raised about my child eating sand which continued after raising the matter. My child’s disability is challenging and I can understand them finding it difficult. Despite submitting medical documents before they would enrol them, they managed to lose them. I was called into a meeting regarding a positive participation where I was requested to provide said documents again. My child is having eating problems which they are seeing a dietitian for. I strongly suspect has not been offered water. There water bottle always seems to be in their bag unlike the other children.
To top it off, despite claiming the childcare subsidy from the government for 12 hours a day. They only want my child to do shorter days. I’d never put my child in there for 12 hours but given I’m paying them I at least would like my child there for a period of time that suits me.

with reputable and established Tutor centers (e.g. University Tutors - TuTR4u - Tutor Finder). Tutor Field started in the same manner - However, they changed in order to make $ by simpling supplying a potential lead (not guaranteed to be genuine) and then, also in the event of a person keento become a student. Basically, a money making website as they do nothing for tutors really. Below is the email in reply to becoming a tutor at Tutors Field: quote:
Hi
We charge a one-off $25 per student. Students can chat with you using our website prior to booking their first lesson. When they are ready to lock in the first lesson with you they just need to pay a one-off $25 booking fee through our website. Once that is done, they can contact you directly.
If you charge $40 per lesson, as the student has already paid $25 to our platform, they just need to pay you the remaining $15 in person.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
