without missing a beat.
It’s also pretty quiet, which is a nice bonus, and the attachments make it super versatile for corners, furniture, and even the car. The vacuum bags are easy to change and not too messy, though they do add a bit to the running cost. Still, totally worth it for how clean it gets the place.

week you will empty it about 5 times. The dust filter also detaches and flings dust everywhere due to design flaw. Also battery power runs out way too quick. I vacuumed front and rear foot wells in my car and it battery went dead.

to full unscrew and disassemble the head to cut hair out etc. Id opt for a Dyson instead, at least their heads just slide out for a clean. No tools required.
For the price of this vacuum, it should not be this difficult to clean it. Especially given it’s marketed for pets.

well. It only differs from the standard Guard L1 because of the inclusion of a turbo brush. I supplement my carpet cleaning with my Dyson, although the Dyson filter isn't a fan of my German Shepherd's hair and needs cleaning out more often since the GSD arrived. But that's another story.
My biggest beef with the Guard L1 Cat and Dog is that the vacuum cleaner arrived with an ActiveAirClean 50 exhaust filter which needs replacement after about 50 hours of use. Guard L1 replacement vacuum bags require the Miele TU type. While the box includes replacement exhaust filter cloths, these are not suitable for the ActiveAirClean 50 exhaust filter. You need the open the exhaust filter cartridge to insert the replacement filter cloth, but the ActiveAirClean 50 filter cartridge cannot be opened, so I cannot use the replacement filter cloths provided and will have to separately order an ActiveAirClean 50 replacement filter.
It of course begs the question why the Guard L1 Cat and Dog came with the ActiveAirClean 50 exhaust filter when you need a different filter cartridge to fit the replacement filter cloths.
I can only think this is a money making exercise, which is really quite disappointing.

Strong suction power • Option to have switch motor to the bottom means less effort to vacuum floor Cons • Short battery life 10 to 20 minutes on high • For hand held short reach vacuuming, the unit can be problematic for people who don't have the strength in their wrists, elbow and shoulders .... perhaps it's a blessing that there is a short battery life! • Small volume dust collection canister ... but most cordless vacuum vacuum cleaners have this issue • Emptying of dust canister is fiddly Summary: If you have no issues with strength in the arms and shoulders (maybe you do weights) then this might be worth looking at. Otherwise, I‘d look at alternatives.
