ALDI Electric Bikes Questions & Answers
VerifiedAnyone know where I can get a battery for this Aldi folding E Bike? Thanks external link
I purchased an Electric Folding Bike Model number EST-EFLDBIKE1 V3.0 04/2026 on 24/04/2026 from ALDI NORTHLAND
SAP Sellable ID: 707767 Bar code 4069365438268 241751156
I assembled the bike as per the enclosed instructions. The instructions state (pg 16), "The battery is 60% pre-charged. No special action to be taken when first charging". On pressing the power button on the top of the battery to check the battery was partially charged, I noted that no LED lights came on indicating the battery was completely flat. I plugged in the enclosed charger and after 10 seconds, the LED light on the charger went from red to green and remained green. Even after charging for 6 hours the led light on the charger remains green and there are still no LED lights showing on top of the battery. The battery still has no charge after overnight charging. I believe there is a fault either with the battery, the charger, or the battery management system (BMS). The battery details are Model- TH-YY3678 10INR19/66-3 7.8hr 280.8 Wh 36Vdc Please let me know how I go about getting a warranty replacement or a repair.

Where can you get a replacement battery? FP-MY367R5
Peter W. 2m · Electric Bikes I have a c. 4yo Tempo Estate Fold folding e-bike from Aldi. I see three previous posts about the pedal assist cutting out after 10-30 seconds and the lights dying on the handlebar display. Although the battery still shows full charge. Also there is zero response to the twist throttle. Each turn of the key, same thing. Otherwise the bike is like new. Is there a simple fix for this problem? I can be reached on 0414193608. Where can I buy a battery for foldup bike e bike est-efldbike1 v2.1
Good afternoon,
'Crane' folding pedal assisted e-bike was purchased approx. Feb 24. Any chance it is still subject to a 2 year warranty? Alas I vaguely recall it may have been one year only.

Partner has for some months now regularly complained of seemingly premature power drain/loss, particularly on inclines, especially when contrasted with earlier performance. Yet oddly I was unable on several occasions to re-produce the experience she claimed.
More recently, and similar to several other reports here, when pedaling the power assist now is only sluggishly applied for a few seconds before it's lost completely, handlebar controller going dark. Only switching key off/on can re-activate the bike, and then only to repeat this; a few seconds of power, then total loss, ad nauseum, rendering the bike for all intents unusable.
Multimeter indicates battery is charged to 41.9v when charging indicator turns green. After several start/stop/start/stop cycles, per above, meter shows battery 41.8v, suggesting to me no undue/excessive drainage.
About to repeat exercise with wiring exposed; expect to confirm full power (voltage) initially at handlebar, and upon pedaling at hub too, then momentarily later total loss of power (voltage) to rear hub, and likewise handlebar controller, in view of it going from fully illuminated to fully not, concurrent with loss of power assist.
Can you suggest any possible or known causes - and remedies - of such an issue?
My partner is highly dependent upon the bike, day to day.
Are there replacement control panels for these bikes? Ideally I would love to have a key ignition with display screen and lever throttle???
hi, my aldi estate city mens bike, every time i turn on the power display, it shows full battery, and bike works fine for 30 seconds, and then the screen dies and i lose all power. Why is this happening
I have lost my key - so I can’t get the battery out?
I brought a second hand bike with no key and we drilled out the lock and replaced it. The locks are cheap. It just finding the right one.I purchased mine online. Google search adding a picture of the lock once you get it out will help.

Hi Edward, most of these things can be purchased on eBay. Or Ali express. If you know what the plug is as in sizing it very easy to get a new charger.
What charger came with the estate bike 2022 Battery is FP-MY367R5 I think I need to replace.
Hi Anita! May we ask for the model number of your bike?
My mum is 84. She has an Aldi Ultimo E1.0 Step-Through Urban e-bike that has been used less than 800 Kms. She lives in Melbourne and since the weather is getting better, she is getting the urge to start riding it again. I charged the battery and took it for a little test ride last week and the pedal assist worked fine for about 1 minute. Then the motor started to make a clunking sound and it lost drive. I took the bike back and turned it upside down with power on and tried pedalling it and sounded like gears were stripped or the clutch was slipping. I had a look in the hub and the planetary gears are well lubricated and in good condition and the clutch spins freely in one direction and locks up nice in the other. What is the likely cause of this failure, and can I get spare parts for a 6 year old Aldi bike?
I took mine to a bike shop, they are happy to work on them if needed. Mine has always clunked. But no other issues. The pedal assist is just that more pedaling than free motion. Was it in gear properly they can be a little temperamental. It may have needed a gear change.
