What’s the difference between Breville fountain plus and fountain max?
I’m not sure I selected mine based on the product my daughter showed me. It’s unfortunate that we can’t see these products in action in the store. I’m happy with my choice however, be prepared the quantity of fruit used is enormous. The only problem I have become aware of is the fruit goes through the juicer too fast. If the process was slower more juice would be collected. I thought of turning the pulp into healthy ice blocks. Good luck with your purchase hope I have been of assistance to you.
Hi Breville, I have the JE98XL which I have just started using for about two months - this morning the food pusher no longer fits....I only wash the juicer parts by hand...ideas/suggestions?
Where can I get spare FOOD PUSHER (PLUNGER) for Brevile BJE 400 ?
I am located in NZ.
Do you need to peel citrus before putting into juicer?
is this product a cold press juicer?
I'm not versed in all of the different masticating, cold press terms.
The juice is extracted through spinning blades - and because of the spinning it does heat the fruit just a little bit.
The juice comes out room temperature, though I don't think many vitamins are lost with that heat.
It's just an easy, simple, basic juicer. Nothing fancy or special.
Where could I possibly got the left side custom made container of fruit waste upon crush th retrieve juice?
Does it BJE520 juice oranges?
What is the difference between The Breville Juice Fountain Max Juicer
Model: BJE410 and Breville Froojie Fountain BJE520? Both appear to have excellent reviews but I'm unsure which is better out of the two? (Newbie to juicing)
Thanks in advance!!
What is different between bje410 & je95?
These models are quite similar.
The bje410 comes with a large protected from juice outbreak jug and two rotational speeds where the je95 does not. The bje410 comes with brushed chrome housing. The je95 comes with plastic housing. Both have safety lock mechanism that prevents unsafe operation, the same juicing disc filter and a large feed chute for whole fruit extortion. Both have comes with 1 year replacement with 5 year motor warranty. The bje410 looks more fancy. both assigned in Australia but but made in China ): ..
I hope that this will help you..
Would you mind to explain me the differences between max and plus of Breville Juice Fountain? I'm looking to buy one very soon but I've got no idea which is suit me.
How about BJE410 Max, BJE410 Plus and BJE520 model?
From australia. Where do I buy a spare mesh for a fountain juicer?
Hi Nerida - you can contact customer service regarding spare part purchases - 1300 139 798. Thanks, the Breville team
Is the plastic filter holder part on the BJE520 the same as any other models? Eg the BJE410,
I broke the part and want to see if I have to order a new one or if I can get cheaper from a second hand different model
These models are different. We would not suggest swapping parts with other models. Spare parts can be purchased from our customer service dept on 1300 139 798 or email@example.com
Hi, I purchased the BJE400 about 12 months ago and have been cleaning the removable parts in the dishwasher with no problems. However when I emptied the dishwasher today the plunger/food pusher had a large bulge in the side? It will not now fit in the machine obviously. I was wondering if this has happened before to anyone else and can I get a replacement part?
Hi. This has not happened to ours. I suppose you could get another one but under the Australian consumer law the product needs to be fit for purpose irrespective of company warranty and this is obviously not. I don't ever remember reading in their literature that it couldn't be placed in a dishwasher? You would expect that an integral part like this would last for a number of years. I Think you should contact Breville and let them know and request a new part if not under their warranty under the Australian Consumer Law.
Part 4 covers it I think.
Sorry but I just assumed you were in Australia, but I now see you may not be as you mention the BJE400. Anyway, haven't had the problem but contact Breville direct (they are an Aussie company I think or NZ) and I am sure they will see you right. Let us know.
Hi, I'm thinking to buy Breville BJE400 and I like to know if this machine could juice kale or spinach?
Hi, sorry but I don't know as I have never tried those two. But it does juice parsley and celery leaves. Hope this helps.
My friend has the same machine and did kale and spinach in hers, and said that it got clogged and didn't quite work the same afterwards. You are supposed to soak the parts in hot water for ten minutes after each use but not sure if she did this! It may just need a really good soak and clean. From memory the instructions said that you could do it, so she probably wasn't thorough enough with her clean. The moving parts are fairly large and come with a special brush to clean them with which gets in the nooks and crankys very well.
Hi Michelle, If you're in australia it is the BJE410. Yes it can juice kale and spinach. We suggest rolling the leaves up so they go in together and not just small bits. This way you get a high juice yeld. Hope this helps.
Hi, I have been given a breville BJE410 but I didn't get the juicing jug with it, I find it juices really well although there is a lot of froth on the juice, does the juicing jug elimate this froth? thinking I need to buy one. Please help thank you
Hi Maria, Thanks for your question. The juicing jug does have a froth separator in the jug so if you don’t like the frothy bit on top then it will leave it in the jug but for those that do the lid is just removed and all the juice goes into the glass. The jug can be purchased through our customer service on 1300 139 798. Hope this helps. Kind regards, The Breville Team
I like the juice so take the lid off to pour but the lid stops most of the froth if you don't like it. My juicer is absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't be without it now. Hope you like yours just as much.
I was given a Breville Juicer Fountian..But She lost the instructions. & I don't know how to use it could you please email me the instructions for please .
Daphne Quigg .
Model bje410 .
Hi Daphne, You are able to download the instruction booklet from our website http://www.breville.com.au/juice-fountaintm-plus.html
Hope this helps.
Hi would we be able to make kiwifruit and mango juice using the Breville BJE410 juice fountain? I had read some where that it may not be suitable for very soft and/or stringy fruits... Many thanks in advance!
You can juice anything with this juicer but you'll need to use the lower speed for fruits like kiwi and mango and you won't get the same extraction as you would with a cold press juicer (which are good but significantly more expensive for a decent one). I use mine mostly for green juices.
I am considering purchasing the bje 410 juicer, but in the store it appears to have a shiny, chrome coloured PLASTIC housing. The reviews I've read however state that it has a brushed chrome housing. Which is it - I'm confused. I would like to have one with a metal housing which my friend's bje400 has, (shiny chrome). What is the difference between the bje400 and the bje410 besides the housing and is the bje400 still available because I can't find it in the shops or online?
I can't really answer this question. I have not heard of the BJE400 so guess it is an outdated model.
I have the BJE410 model which in my model, has a chrome casing for the part containing the all important motor. Personally, I don't see the problem with what material the motor is cased in? The motor casing does not come into contact with the material being juiced and does not need to be washed after juicing, due to this non contact.
Hi Fishfingers, The two models are exactly the same but we just did a revamp on it not long ago which changed the look of the housing. Apart from that the models are the same. Hope this helps.
