can a easiyo yoghurt mix be made using the breville yoghurt creation

I have had an old Breville yoghurt maker with a glass container for over 30 years. Unfortunately it no longer heats to a successful temperature.

Does the current one have a glass container?

Hi Suzanne - there isn't a yogurt maker in the current product range. You may wish to contact customer service to find a service agent just incase it can be repaired. The Breville team

Hi Suzanne - We have 2 of the exact same model & still use them.One we got as either a wedding or engagement present abut 30 years ago & the other one I picked up cheaply at a garage sale. Obviously this model was discontinued a long time ago & also the newer model that replace ours was "Breville Yoghurt Creations " is also deleted from the range now.I have also been looking for extra jars for some time as I love having different flavours available at the same time & our model only came with 1 jar. Breville no longer have any yogurt makers & I reckon you best bet is to go to garage sales & Op shops to find a new jar. That is what I am going to do. Cheers Colleen

Hi Suzanne .. about two months after I left home for a year travelling my son found a full container of yogurt I'd made for him in the fridge and threw it away container and all! To make yogurt in my Breville Creations maker I now use a glass container with lid purchased from the supermarket.. it works fine.
