Will a donkey 1 seat frame fit on a donkey 3 stroller/chassis? Are all the seat frames compatible from the Donkey 1 to the Donkey 3?

What extra parts do I need to purchase to make the donkey mono into a duo? Will the seat/bassinet from the chameleon 3 work for this?
Hi Emm Thanks for the question. The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 seat frame is not compatible with the Donkey. To extend a Donkey mono to duo, you can purchase the Donkey 3 duo extension set complete. Looking to purchase a donkey 3 mono for grandchild with Turtle car seat. Giving the option with or without base.......what is the base used for, is it necessary?

Just wondering if the new buffalo fabric can fit onto the donkey frame for my donkey mono (2013) model? I’ve heard mum’s buying the buffalo fabric as it’s a deeper seat but wanted to make sure it fits my pram before buying it.

Hi Natalie S. The bugaboo buffalo seat fabric is not compatible with the bugaboo donkey seat frame. Whilst measurements may fit - compatibility ensures all thorough weight testing is given and approved. I hope this helps All the best, the bugaboo team

Why does the seat fabric have this non-removable black hood?
Hi Carynn C, Thank you for your question, the head barrier is a safety function, which is a mandatory Australian standard for prams. There is a hidden zip for removing the head barrier under the canopy, however this is at your own discretion.
