Why is the only option "delivery" for $17.95 on actual online ordering system, when you advertise on your website "click and collect" as an option? Seems like highway robbery when all I require is reactivation of digital codes for existing textbooks, which just gets emailed to the student.

Hi Vid, thanks for your feedback. For digital code purchases, there is no delivery fee. The code gets emailed to the address provided. If you are purchasing physical items such as printed textbooks, available delivery options and costs will show. Click & Collect will open for many sites shortly. Hi, I placed an online order early on November 23rd because of a bad experience last year where I had to wait three hours at the store to receive the item. However, I should have chosen one of the optional products, but I ordered both and contacted the consumer center saying I wanted to cancel one, but I received an email telling me to return to the store for a refund after receiving it because it was already in the warehouse. But it's been almost a week since I sent the email, and It hasn't been delivered yet .I don't understand why I can't cancel the entire order. The thought of receiving it again and waiting for a refund is terrifying. I want to know when it will be delivered or if I can cancel the order.Thanks

Hi mal317, thank you for providing your references. Our store is currently experiencing supply and staff shortages and are working their hardest to get orders delivered in time. As your orders have been placed after our 'order by' date of Dec 15th, they are awaiting stock and are processing through our warehouse. At this point in time, your order is not outside its pre-advised delivery dates.

At current, we do not recommend visiting our stores as wait times are longer than anticipated. With apologies, our best recommendation is to wait for the processing and delivery of your order to avoid any hassles.

Further, we have since contacted schools in WA to advise them of known delays and to ensure no student is disadvantaged.

Hi mal317, we completely understand your frustrations and are apologetic for known delays. At current, my best advice is to leave the order as it is, as it is still within the 10 working days for processing to be completed.

If the order processing surpasses 10 working days, then I am happy to provide you with a refund to the costs of packaging as an apology. Hopefully it does not come to this.

In the meantime, you are welcome to cancel your order if you please, however, this will need to be done ASAP, as once the order has finished processing, we will be unable to stop delivery. Please confirm your intentions at the earliest. I apologise for any inconvenience. Thank you - Harry

As mentioned, once the order has processed, the parcel will be handed off to Australia Post. Hi Harry please cancel the orders. It is now 2 weeks since the school has began and the parcel has not reached us. More than 3 weeks ...along with extremely horrible experience. I will go to a different shop and buy it myself. Please provide the refund and cancel the request. The school has said to cancel as it is way to late.They need stationery by tomorrow. I was told by the school that since it is organised through Campion and the school doesn't pay for the books that they can't help me and was told directly through Campion that if we cant afford to pay basically to bad so sad the books get sent back to them and the kids go without...but they are so understanding apparently.

We placed an order for my yr 7 Son through the school, got a comfirmation notice and receipt for the order. Went to school and delivery hasn't been made, call this clowns at CAMPION and can't find the order, 2 days for school to start and have no books what a joke, very fast to take your money but useless at delivery and don't care about customers. It is just a waste of time with these guys , poor customer service, unreliable company , probably run by a bunch of thieves that just take people's money and run. Shame on you CAMPION

1) Keep the book perfect, if there are any signs of damage they won't refund you. 2) Go into them directly. They don't do well with phone queries. Do it ASAP as they have a bad reputation for letting things drag out. 3) Keep a record of all your communication with them. Dates, times, ask for names. 4) If they want to deny you a refund, tell them you are within your rights as a consumer under the ACCC and you will contact the Ombudsman. external link  Good luck!

Campion don't make it easy for you to shop around, as they deliberately protect their website booklists from copy/past. In the past I've used booktopia.com.au, but there are heaps out there, including second hand books on ebay/gumtree. Can also try external link , external link  and hundreds more places on google. The only item for which we have no option other than Campion is the LanguagePerfect subscription, which is simply a payment to a 3rd party... and can you believe Campion charge a delivery free for that?!! Hate, hate, hate this company. ACCC should definitely give them a look over....

I have discovered that you can look up the campion catalogue online ( external link  ) using the product code on the school booklist to obtain the ISBN to enable ordering elsewhere. I have also purchased books online and of course secondhand when available a lot cheaper but when I can't find it elsewhere I use Link Educational ( external link  ) who I have found to provide a far superior service to campion.

As mentioned, eBay, Gumtree are good alternatives. Also try booko.com.au - this website is a search engine to find all the books you need (including second hand) and will tell you the price plus postage so you can find the best alternative. Even from overseas. And not just limited to school books. If you get the app you can also search by a bar code. Also works for DVDs if you are looking for these. I have saved hundreds using booko.com.au to find the cheapest books.

AND AFTER USING CAMPION A FEW YEARS BACK I WILL NEVER NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

PS: Don't believe the "this item is only available at Campion' in your booklists. It's simply not true, just a ruse to get you to go to them.
