My dentitex is about 12 months old and it will not charge when placed on charger. ie the light will not come on and no charging takes place. Is the charger faulty?, as the brush does run when switched on for a few seconds.

Hello I have an old pink dentitex non electric toothbrush I was cutting down to size to fit in the grates of an air vent to clean it and as I firstly has anyone ever cut one up anyway there seems to be a pot of gold in it LOL you have to sit at the end of a rainbow to see it but bahaha na all jokes aside there is gold in it doubt its real but ya never know can anyone tell me what it is I'm thinking brass maybe have fun cutting up ya toothbrushes people

Replacement heads are a problem but I solved it. Simply cut the head off the old one. Cut one off a new toothbrush and fasten it to the old stub of the toothbrush. I drilled a hole in it and put a bamboo kebab stick in it to reinforce it and araldited it in. Works a treat.

It says on the packet it has 3 modes but I don't how find them.

Decent replacement heads for the Dentitex SG-507 sonic toothbrush can be obtained from AliExpress, at a fraction of the cost of official ones through Wisdom Brands. Lots of similar Chinese made toothbrushes. Search for Seago SG-507, Fairywill FW-507, or Atmoko HP126A. All the same. Even cheaper if you create a new AliExpress account and get the "new buyers discount". Has worked well for me, quality appears to be the same.
